The Don™
He's regressed this season anyways...He'll be a cap casualty or asked to take a pay cut anyways after this season. We would save 7.9 million cutting him and only 1.2 in dead cap. He essentially had a three year contract Happy to see Senat practicing though. That's great and all but the real concern is who would replace him vs. Washington. I'm pretty certain we are not better without him in 2018. Atl Falcon
I’d be careful what I wished for Alford’s had his ups and downs but it’s highly unlikely we have a better player in a backup
Brewcrew
Hopefully Oliver has progressed a whole offseason's worth over the bye week.

GrimeyKidd
Id actually like to see what Oliver has and this is the perfect week to do it. Redskins WRs aren't scary

2_legit_2_legit_2_quit
Let's just hope Dan Quinn doesn't say "Alford should be good to go" because that means IR and done for the year.

Falcons_own_nfc_south
Update on Alford Speaking to the media on Thursday, Falcons coach Dan Quinn provided an update on where Alford and Bryant currently stand and whether or not they would be available this weekend against the Washington Redskins. "We're not going to rule him out yet, for sure," Quinn said of Alford. "He didn't go yesterday. Like most ankle injuries, there's strength that he can get back into it to get right. He didn't go there yet. We're going to run him on the side again today, and we'll have a better assessment of where he's at going through. We're going to try to give him as much time as we can to see how strong we can get it." https://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/falcons-injury-updates-dan-quinn-provides-latest-on-robert-alford-matt-bryant
