His mom was something else lol. She babied him too much after he got into the NFL. Had a couple yelling matches with some of the fans about him during games too

Yeah she was a fool on twitter too. Lol

They should have done a Campbell's soup commercial together like Richard Sherman did with his mother.

It's been an ongoing thing basically since he got drafted. The kid's mother is an awesome human being. But he's wildly immature. Ownership had to come out and say they weren't cutting him last year because the Giants fans were screaming for it so often. Landon Collins, his own teammate, called him a cancer, and he got benched multiple times for stupid play and lack of effort. He's a supremely talented player, but he has low levels of want-to. He likes the trappings of being a successful athlete a lot more than he likes trying to be the best version of himself.

Realistically, he's someone who needs the hardest coaching possible, and he just went to the worst organization I've ever seen for coaching defense.

Sounds like Hageman 2.0

He already caught so much **** from his teammate about her. That probably wouldn't have helped him. Great commercial though

Asking a question doesn't make one homophobic

If it's totally irrelevant to the job, it does make it homophobic. I can't think of a job where your employer needs to know your sexual orientation.....besides porn and maybe being a priest.

And for what it's worth, there was no way Apple would come to Atlanta because homophobic Marquand Manuel asked him if he was gay.

Lol totally forgot about that. That stuffs hilarious.

Potential to not suck that bad I guess. Tru and Alford were horrible last night. And Rocky was actually pretty good last year

Tru been horrible all season.

Been terrible since we drafted him.

I thought he was good the first couple of years. Then Mike Evans came into the division and absolutely owns him. Other teams have picked up on him and how soft he plays off the LoS.

Considering how much pressure the Giants were able to generate, Eli really didn't impress last night. Gave up big play after big play and should have been called for several more holds. On Ridley's big 3rd down catch late in the game, Eli was holding his jersey the entire time and Ridley still made the catch.

Their secondary had given Julio troubles lately. We countered with Ridley. So they countered with someone to cover him.

They’re going all in with Brees last couple yrs. They’ll be tough for us to beat this yr

He was ok when no one was throwing to his side. I noticed it for the first time when they played the Cowboys a few years ago and he couldn't do anything with Cole Beasley

The Saints 2019 draft class is taking shape:
1st round: DE Marcus Davenport trade
2nd round: Still own
3rd round: Teddy Bridgewater trade
4th round: Eli Apple trade
5th round: Still own
6th round: Still own + Jets' pick
7th round: Still own

The Aints have helped their chances this year and maybe next year to win a Super Bowl. They have also come dangerously close to assuring a catastrophic collapse when their young stars like Kamara are due to be paid and they don't have cheap young talent from the draft.

The saints will always be a tough out with that offense, but they have won a lot of very close games that could have gone either way. I would say they are fortunate to be 6-1.

Regardless of the differing opinions on Trufant, Alford, and Oliver, I am surprised that people would want this extremely weak minded individual on the team.  He is as soft as they come.

The margin of error between 6-10 and 12-4 is really that small. Compared to 2 years ago, we were very bad with the close games.
