Amari Cooper traded to Dallas

83 posts in this topic

The Oakland Raiders will trade wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson on Monday.

The Raiders will receive a first-round draft pick in exchange, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Cooper has just 22 catches for 280 yards and one touchdown in his first six games this season and is coming off a disappointing 2017 campaign, when he had 48 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.

But Cooper was a Pro Bowler in each of his first two seasons with the Raiders, eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards both years.

Cooper is in the NFL's concussion protocol, but the Raiders are on a bye this week and don't play again until Oct. 28 against Indianapolis. He suffered the injury last week in Oakland's loss to Seattle in London

If cooper can pull his head head out of his a.ss then he will be a #1 receiver again. Being traded could motivate him again. He was already good his first year. Him and Gallup together ?? Lol Gallup had that boy on skates Sunday.

Can't believe those dummies gave up a 1st for a guy they will have to resign soon. That trash team can't win in the worst division in the league with that chicken **** QB they have.

Imagine what the Falcons could get for Julio

It was my first thought, but for #44 maybe a team will reach at the faux 16 sacks and throw even a 2nd, rather save the cap hit next year and get another sub 20 pic next year also.

Wow a first for Cooper is a W for Gruden. He’s playing the ten year game I respect it

But it’s a nice F U to the fans in Oakland on the way out
