All this Earl talk.....

1. He has a 12 million dollar tag we cant absorb.

2. He wants a new contract.

3. ET makes somebody expendable.

4. Neal will be up for contract after next year.

5. Rico just signed extension.

6. Dallas was willing to part with a 2nd. Not enough.

7. We traded a 6th for 2nd round pick in 2015 Richards. Why? Idk.

Earl Thomas doesn't have a tag. SEA will have to eat up 4M.

There is just no way the front office and Quinn don't see that our line had been underperforming. Ive been so frustrated with things Dimitroff bargain shopping for dline talent these past two seasons because of this "keeping your own" idea he has been married to

Shelby, Crawford, Jarrett, Senat, McClain, Beasley, Takk and Reed...these are our illustrious pass rushers.  Jarrett, Takk and Reed the only ones getting any type of pressure on the QB.  Pitiful.  Let's not even talk about the LBs, safeties, Poole and Trufant.

No his salary this year is 12 million. We cant afford to bring him in unless we unload a contract or 2. Not happening.

His cap hit will be 8 M, not 12. Salary and cap hit are two different things.

The free safety market is rough. Better off finding a SS and moving Kazee/Poole to free.

There is no one worth signing left in market may be except TJ Ward. Hopefully they can do a better trade than Richards.

Worth the risk over giving up a 1st or 2nd rounder and a huge contract

I agree but there is no time to experiment. You know what you will get in Earl, I say do it if its 3-4.

Would be nice, but they turned down a 2nd from Dallas already.  Plus I don't know where that would leave Neal, cause Earl certainly wouldn't come here without a multi year contract.

Edit: nm the last part, forgot he was a FS

Yeah, i wish they could pull a trade for FS,  like what Eagles did for RB Ajai last year.

Really telling how so many people on here want to just ignore the elephant in the room... we all know that Eric Reid would be the best pick for us, and yet some are even arguing about getting Earl Thomas when there is no way in **** we could get him!!! Talking about cutting off your nose to spite your face!!!
