Oh I definitely understand injuries. 90% disabled veteran. I did the crucible in the Marine Corps on a stress facture in my shin. They wanyed to recycle me to PCP, pork chop platoon, but my squad, unit made sure I finished those 11 miles hump.

I had knee surgery, back surgery, my patellafemoral is shot, which is in the knee, bone spurs in my foot and knee. I know injuries but I know conditioning and overuse. Thatsl is why there is a routine in preseason, to condition you for a rigorous season WITHOUT overusing too early in conditioning.

As always, thank you for serving our country. Seriously man, not a fan of some of your posts lol but thank you for what you did for folks like me and our country.

Bottom line, the starters should've played more during the pre-season. I would still say this without the injuries and the TNF game. They should have played progressively from games 1 to 4. Maybe play a full quarter game 1 and gradually increase it from there.

Keanu did play in the preseason and the only reason Deion was held out was because he was actually nursing an injury.

On another note, my wife just hit me on something I said Labor Day weekend.

Take everything into perspective and don't let it work me up. PTSD just kicks in and thank God she knows me better than I know myself.

No man is an island. Anyone that says they don’t need others are lying to themselves or severely abusive/toxic to anyone they touch.

Like Stan Norfleet has preached multiple times on 92.9 The Game. Like I've preached on here multiple times as well. Preseason MATTERS in every way. Don't tell me preseason does not matter. When you put your helmets and pads on in the game of football where there's no room for error, it always matters. This is not MLB or NBA where there's over 70 games played, this is football where you only get a certain amount of time to get good. We were worse this preseason than last preseason despite both teams being 0-4. We were 3-1 in 2016 and 2-2 in 1998. Super Bowl winning teams have a strong mentality throughout the preseason and treat every practice seriously, and this may be why a lot of Super Bowl representing teams in recent years had a losing record the previous season. They sneak up on everybody and just stay quiet during the off season and put in the max work. Our Falcons team got overconfident and caught up in themselves. All these contracts and certain players being overpaid and not showing it on the field. It's never promised to you.

Everything about me GA. Fan since 87, first year I started watching football, college or NFL. I don't bandwagon, I don't switch teams, I don't have a 2nd team. I'm here pissed or not. Disappointed or not.

Next question?!

Gotcha. We all process disappointing news in different ways. Glad you are here and I take back the question.

I’m just so depressed that our season is starting this way. It’s very hard for me to see ya making any type of noise this year

Ryan, Julio , freeman and gang will get it together on their side. Quinn/Manuel will figure something out and adjust the scheme to the personnel replacing Neal/Jones on the other side.

The CBA dictates how much a team practices. These guys probably lift weight and run 5 times a week during the offseason. But you cant get football conditioning until you play

Oh, they were out of shape. They were gassed with hands on hips in SECOND qtr.

Cause they weren't in football conditioned. You can take an Olympic Decathlon athlete and two minutes in full pad practice they would be tired. And a Decathlon athlete is considered the most conditioned athlete in the world

Preciate that bro.

Yeah this one is a new one on me. My problem was I couldn’t stay off it the full six weeks. I wouldn’t run for about a week, week and a half and it’d get to feeling good like there was nothing wrong, totally pain free, so I’d wanna get back out there and test it out. Next day I’d be back to square one.

Had to finally break down and get me a bike. That’s how I’ve been getting my cardio in. Just now coming back around to a 100%.

Dude I hate cardio so much. As a former athlete I know how important it is but man it sucks

You’re welcome sir.

As you know, All teams face adversity during a long season. See eagles last year, they lost their starting QB. Yet the backup stepped up and they won the whole thing.

Pats seemingly do it every year.....they lose a Gronk, or a key defensive player like Hightower. Yet they figure out how to overcome. Heck, one could make a strong argument that it was adversity that led them to discovering Tom Brady.

We can do it too.

What's the question? Serious about what? A Navy Corpsman...? Of course I know.

The cringey ‘wannabe Marine’ comment. You sound like an E-1 fresh out of boot. Many of your brothers owe their lives to guys like that. Show some respect on his service.
