Quinn is an idiot about Pre season, we will be 2-6 after 8 games

Conditioning and practice works your ligaments through repetitions and muscle memory. It does play a factor. You can call it minor but it's  a factor. That's why reaggravating an injury is always  a serious consideration. ACL, MCL they all are serious considerations.

And a guy randomly tearing his ACL on a non-contact play in game 6, that’s because he’s not in condition?

Quinn's idiocy about preseason also got the falcons to the super bowl and back to back years with playoff victories.

Roll out the banner on the (I used a word here that required my mouth to be washed out) mistake. And his decisions also lost us a dam near guaranteed SB victory but not quite guaranteed because we made the wrong side of history again.

That was a LOOONG ride back from Houston. And I had my buddy from NO, a Saints fan, in the car with us no less. He didn't day too much trash at the time because he KNEW it was a long walk back to NO or an expensive Uber.

If you couldn't see that the players weren't ready then you weren't watching the game.  Many were out of shape and that does contribute to injuries.

Kazee and Oloukon can pick up some of the slack (excited for Kazee honestly), and our DL should get the chance to show out when not facing what is easily the best OL in football.

On offense, we sucked against the Eagles D in their house even with Shanny (only 15 points against a considerably worse team). Saw lots of good signs from the O in terms of playcalling, many won't hear it but I believe it. Think the better litmus test is the next two weeks - after that, fine, write them off.

Feel free to look at my post history, I'm plenty negative. Debo is my favorite Falcon, I was campaigning for him long before anyone else on TATF and even made a 10 minute video on YouTube for him. This is moreso about MAD crowing victory every time something bad happens to the Birds.

My wife is in my ear now fussing because she us optimistic as well. I am ready to sell our seats below market price but she wants to keep them.

I am doom and gloom at this point but you definitely have some optimistic reasoning and points. Just hard to believe Oluokun can fill in, even slightly to Debo. And I REALLY love Kazee after watching his highlights from last year but he does not bring what Neal brings.

Think about this...if we still manage deceny defensively, Grady getting PAID because he will have the argument that he held down the fort while our 3 PBers were out.

And has nothing to do with tearing a knee ligament. Football players tear ligaments all the time. It’s got nothing to do with conditioning. It’s football.

Muscles strains pulls, sure.... that’s all impacted by conditioning. Ligaments are random as fu**.

I know. Seen it firsthand.

And if Jones and Neal had gotten injured during a preseason game, you're the same ones that would be screaming for Quinn's head because they shouldn't have been playing.  There's no winning with some of you.  Go root for the Saints; you'd fit right in with the rest of the trash.

Wrong. If they got unjured in the 3rd or 4th qtr of a preseason game, yes. But not when following the normal protocol.

The norm is 1st preseason game, a series or 2, 2nd preseason game, 1st qtr, 3rd preseason definitely a half and maybe 1st series of 3rd.

Am I wrong?

our defense now officially sucks again now without Deion Jones ... I love Kazee taking over at Safety - and maybe instead of a Thumper at Safety we could use a ball-hawking Safety like Kazee. We may have upgraded our Safety position actuallly/

BUT you cant really replace a Deion Jones.....the Center of our Defense. An ALL PRO .. Pro Bowler ... THIS IS GOING TO BE TOUGH

Bad steo or landing. It happens. But we weren't conditioned nor in game shape nor in sync.

And we were playing on a natural grass field which had been rained on. Keanu slipped changing direction and his knee buckled and y’all wanna keep talking about condition... which is pretty moot in the first place considering Keanu actually did play in the preseason.

It's football, guys are gonna get hurt.... a lot. The injury thing is random. Someone like Brett Favre who plays for years without injury is very rare.

Just gotta keep playing. Pretty sure no one on the team is calling the season over.

Probably not in public but definitely having some thoughts. Tell that to the Packers without Arod or Saints without Brees.

Not even a stress fracture. That could develop from overuse. I know someone that got a stress fracture from running too much

Yup.  Happened to me when I was training for a half marathon.  Overuse caused a stress fracture in my foot.

Did he play? But he wasn't changing direction. He was chasing from behind beelined towards the sideline.

Yep. That’s another one I know first had. I wound up with one earlier this summer from too much running.
