Mr.11 8,354
I'm excited for football. I think the defense will play well, and the offense may struggle finding their rhythm at the beginning but pick it up as the game progresses.

E. T. 5,808
I'm thinking 24 pts can win this. Getting the 24 pts is the concern for me...(red zone woes, dropped passes). I'm trying to stay positive here....we can win this 24-20. Thank GOD football is back!!!

If he is predictable and only gets us 10 or less points, than its time we really start looking at other options. There is a lack of confidence in the offense and it shows. I am not going to sit here and act like the 2017 offense was fluid and crisp, nothing about it looked good even when they actually produced points. We all know that, your wearing blinders if you don't see that. There were only 2 to 3 times where I felt the offense was going to do their thing in the season. 2008. 2012 and 2016. Sadly, I felt more confident in our offense in 2008 than almost every year besides 2016, and even then thats a close call. If we execute the plays, you've got nothing to worry about. Oldmanfan 281
I think we win. We will need to be careful about third and long situations and protecting the ball. It is time to perform!

Yeah I'd say somewhere between 8-10 which isn't bad but not as great as TATF thinks.

I think Quinn's use of pre season will backfire, yea our team is healthy but the starters barely played and timing/game speed will be a problem the first few games. I think DL will be an issue to start with which will probably cause a domino effect on Defense. I think offense will be similar to last year, out of sync, dumb mistakes and penalties before they get in sync maybe later in the year. Some of these issues should improve through the year but as far as the first game goes I think we get smoked and look bad doing it. Quinns teams have started 4-0, 3-1, 3-1 with preseasons just like this one. Same thing for the Falcons, Falcons starters have gotten the reps, just not preseason game reps. Road Warrior 638
Seems most of us feel comfortable with the defense but are worried about the offense. There's good reason for that. I think the magic number is 24 to win. I can't really see the Eagles scoring more than about 20 pts. unless we turn the ball over. I think we SHOULD win but honestly I'm expecting a loss due to sloppy play. Hope I'm wrong.
celtiksage 2,742
We do tend to play sloppy first game out, but usually so does the other team. I think we get the win. We are over due to have a decent game 1.
falconfanEST1989 1,929
I feel like if we lose we looking at and 8-8 record. Foles isn't good, no Alshon, and Ajayi is banged up. If we win big, ie 27-10, 30-17 then we are a solid 12-4 team

JG2008 987
I don’t think it will be a close game. Either we are going to win by double digits or we are going to get our a-ss kicked. this should be our year finally so I think we are going to win Falcons 30 Eagles 20 Edited September 6, 2018 by JG2008
falcoatlantae 528
I don't think people realize how much the the team has improved this offseason. Sure, the Eagles are the World Champs, but I feel great about our chances tomorrow and for the season!

It works fine but Beasley and Takk really need to produce this year
