Ever tried dragon heart picks? I am half tempted. But I like the Dunlop Tortex pretty good. I will have to check these out.

I haven't.  I tried these on a lark.  I have 12 of the normal ones and 12 of these (the "grippy" ones), both in medium (0.73 mm).  They sound good, but more important, they seem more durable than the Fender and Gibson picks I've been using.  They're expensive, so they'd better be.  They also play really nice.

I listed the KOT on reverb.  I don't play at gig volume, so it doesn't get a chance to shine in my setup and someone is probably going to pay me close to twice what I paid for it new.

Let them.  I did and haven't really looked back.

Okay, I got on the list, but that was just so you could get one and see for yourself.

They're great pedals, but at gig volume the Fulldrive is much better, at least with my rig.

I have it listed at $500. I’ll take something above $400. The used market for them is insane because of the wait time for new ones.

I once thought about getting every member of my family on the list to flip them all, but once you pay for it, even a $150 profit is going to only net me about $750.00, and I have to wait for years for it and then front the over $1200 cost of 5 KOT pedals.

Already sold for $465.  I almost countered but I caught myself since I'm already making a $200 profit :rain:

Anyone else following this Gibson PR debacle?  Thinking their new owners plan is to try to sue everyone possible so they can fly by night with as much cash as possible.

It's dumb.  I'm not getting rid of my Gibsons though.

Had to look up those pickups.  I'm half tempted to get the "Precious and Grace" set to go with my "Pearly Gates" set, but that's just vanity talking again, and the last time I let vanity decide things, I went on a 2 month long pickup bender where I wasn't satisfied with my tone until I put the two sets I have back where they belong.

Seriously tho, what is it?

The pedal is a modified Satellite Eradicator, a tube preamp pedal with a 12ax7 that runs 300 volts dc like a tube amp (not those starved plate "tube" pedals from the 90's.  Marc Ford has one as well, and he's been playing through Marshall-style amps built by the same company.  https://www.satelliteamps.com/store/p31/Eradicator.html

Nick was in Silvertide, but now he has his own band, Underground Thieves, and he's also been touring with Dorothy.  He's thankfully regained some exposure the past couple of years and has been upgrading his rig again, he's running les pauls into a fender tube reverb unit into a cranked JTM45.  He loves fuzz faces too, he has some custom made ones by Ivor.  His IG page is gear porn.

Good Lord, that's spendy.

It sounds amazing though.  I really want a JTM45, but my 18 Watt is already too loud.  I might try one of these out one day.  But not today.  Today I have bills.

I'm reeeeeaaaaaallllllyyyyyy ready for my referral fee to come in so I can snag a used Friedman Dirty Shirley mini.  I don't want to email the other guy and bug him, it's a minor settlement so they needed court approval but I thought they were getting that in motion in May . . .

I also listed the bassbreaker for sale.  Combined with the KOT funds, I think I'm going to try to snag a used princeton reverb.  Between that and the Friedman, I won't need any more amps.
