I’m gonna admit I’m tired, but I don’t follow...

Wasn’t talking about you. Just the typical fan that shows up when things are good just to start ish. Go away.

Snitker said they aren't committed to Soroka or Sanchez yet. They'll see how Sanchez feels and go from there.

I just can’t understand this mindset... Soroka has nothing to prove in AAA anymore and Sanchez can help in the bullpen. I mean winning this year would be great but we have to start setting up these young guys for success by letting them take their lumps

If they don't start Soroka, I go on strike. I have no idea why the Braves are making this so hard.

He probably would have it already if he didn't play for a Mariners team that is (at best) an average team.  He's a great pitcher.

Shame how many years he finished with barely 10 plus despite an ERA below 3.

It seems low because longevity always played into a high win total. Even for the great ones.

Guys aren't pitching as long as they used to. That has to be accounted for too.

He's one of those guys on The Show that I just have to have.

I'm horrible with him on The Show. Same with Medlen. All sinkerball pitchers I struggle with. The only one I could pitch good with was Huddy.

Also, gotta point out... pitcher Wins is a dumb stat and a dumb way to evaluate a pitcher's career.

"This guy just knows how to win." I just cringe every time Chip and Joe start bragging on a pitcher's W/L record.

Absolutely. It was just supposed to be a flip remark that got taken seriously.

I didn't even realize Ender was hitting 9th until Soroka came up in the first inning last night. I know we did it the previous game. Had we slotted him 9th at other times this season?

LOL Flaherty in there again over the 24 y/o switch hitter who was named the starter after Spring Training ended.

I guess AA really doesn't like him.

I know some posters on here said that AA was down on him for some reason. Other than that I've heard nothing.

If you squint hard enough, I can see wanting to keep a switch hitter that can play multiple positions on the bench, ready to insert as the game conditions dictate. This will likely be Camargo's role once Bautista comes up (and later with Riley), with Flaherty more of a classic utility infielder I suspect.
