In nickel, your NT goes to the bench, your SDE kicks inside to DT, and you bring in a pass rush specialist to play DE. That's why you don't need a bunch of true DTs. Hall and possibly even Jarrett won't even be on the field. I give up....you don't get it and won't so I am stopping now.

Hall tested like a superhero and his stats are as dominant as an NFL talent should be, when playing against lesser talent however, his game vids don't suggest he should get anywhere near the NFL. Settle on the other hand tested about as well as your blob of an IT guy who always smells like a cat box and is only happy when talking world of warcraft but, his game vids show him flashing talent against very good schools. Of the two I'll take Settle's risk factor all day long. I'm not even sure if hall will see the field in an NFL game before his career is over. Falcanuck
I’d swap Hall for a WR like Miller since Hall and Bryan are really similar. But overall I like this mock.

What part of PJ Hall's production do you have a problem with? The two-time first-team Associated Press FCS All-American played defensive tackle as a senior, however, garnering first-team All-Southland Conference honors by racking up 2017 - 60 tackles, 19 for loss, six sacks, six pass breakups, and tying for the FCS lead with four blocked kicks. Hall was the 2016 Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defender in the old Division 1AA after racking up 24.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks among his 56 total stops (along with three forced fumbles) in 13 starts. Hall was a third-team AP All-American pick and first-team All-Southland selection as a sophomore, leading the Kats with 75 tackles, 22 for loss and 11 sacks. He also blocked five kicks on the year, the second straight season he accomplished that feat. In his redshirt freshman season, Hall started his assault on the record books with a third-team AP All-American and first-team all-conference season. He finished third in Jerry Rice Award voting (top freshman in the FCS) after recording 30 tackles for loss and 12 sacks among his 93 stops, as well as forcing four fumbles. I love the production #s but, who does he play for again. each year we see at least one guy from a small school like this who becomes nothing. I remember a guy a few years ago from the colorodo school of mines who looked the part. the farthest he every made it was the jacksonville practice squad. I will conceded though, If Quinn sees something in Hall, you won't hear a negative peep from me. I just don't see if as of now.

Question for you: Do you believe the Atlanta Falcons are taking an Offensive Guard when their depth chart now is something like this: Starters: LG: Andy Levitre RG: Brandon Fusco Backups: LG: Ben Garland(2nd round tender), RG: Wes Schweitzer (starter in 2017), OG: Pat Harlow (4th round pick) I am just not buying it - and I was the founding member of the Isaiah Wynn fan club. The only one I really see with a remote chance of being drafted is Frank Ragnow because he can play center and we don't have another natural center on our roster. Daniels should be gone by #58 and I don't think he is worthy of our 1st round pick. Frankly I have looked at tape of Ragnow and Daniels and neither has impressed me. Yes, because next year Levitre may be gone and Garland may very well be switched over to DT full time. Or you can just cut Garland before the season starts with no cap hit. So next year your guards are Fusco/Wes winner with the other backing up and say, Ragnow [ just using a name to make the point. pick any of the others that you prefer] That's your two starting guards and back up interior Oline for 6 mil a year. Do you not think that they've invested a lot of time and energy in highly rated Oline to not pick one? One of the reasons everyone says the falcons are taking a DT early is because of how many highly rated Dline prospects they've talked, how does the same exact logic not apply to equal work with the Oline prospects? Yes, I know, position of need as well, but it certainly looks like the Falcons are thinking about DT from each of the first 3 rounds, judging by who they've talked to, same thing applies with Oline prospects in the 2nd or 3rd round. Now, it may be that a 3 or 4 of those Oline contacts were brief interviews at the senior bowl as opposed to multiple in-depth sessions with the Dline prospects so that, even though it looks like they've spent as much time with Oline prospects as Dline prospects by looking at the list, that's not true at all. I never have enough information to really know, but it doesn't look like such a stretch to me to see an Olineman chosen 2nd or 3rd round. You do know that Quinn and Dimitroff went out to Texas to do a private workout w/ PJ Hall, right? Do you think they studied PJ Hall's tape before they burned the jet fuel in Arthur's plane? Bawden is a beast. He is a converted QB that has natural hands and embraced the physical nature of the Fullback position. He was not able to workout at the combine but showed out at his pro day. He is a weapon if you can make use of him. Nick Bawden/FB/San Diego State: Bawden, who performed well at the Senior Bowl but was prevented from working out at the combine after medical exams revealed a Jones fracture in his foot, turned in a sensational workout. After measuring 6-foot-1.5 and 245 pounds in Indianapolis, Bawden ran the 40 at pro day and posted a 4.72, almost two-tenths faster than scouts expected. His other marks included a 33-inch vertical jump, 7.2-second three-cone and 4.37 short shuttle. Bawden impressed the dozen running backs coaches who were primarily on hand to watch teammate Rashaad Penny and looked terrific in drills. He's a devastating lead blocker who can also handle the ball as a short-yardage ball carrier or pass catcher out of the backfield.Read more at http://walterfootball.com/prodaytonypauline.php#byOfwdBtuPJI8lYG.

Romfal
no thanks to Hall in the 2nd, thats a major reach IMO. Athletic numbers aside its really hard to project and rely on a small school project to do anything but warm the bench and get acclimated to the speed of the NFL in year 1, maybe even year 2. A few too many wishful thinking / long shot projects in your class.

If they draft him, I will have confidence - they have already shown their due diligence by flying out there to work him out.

etherdome
Well, I like a lot of names in your mock, but I can't say that I would approach it the same way. If we are fortunate and draft Bryan in the first, I really don't think we go back to DT until the 3rd or 4th.......just my belief. I happen to think that Hines has risen up boards. Everyone is thinking Sproles 2.0. I would not bat an eye if we took him in the second round. He checks a lot of boxes for us. RB's contribute early and I think Hines has the talent to take the #2 RB spot, if Coleman is dealt. I would switch your 2nd and 3rd rounders. I really don't have a problem with any of the other picks, though I would certainly invest in a FB and worry about signing one of those other late rounders after the draft. ike barn87987
I am convinced that if we pick Bryan 1st, that we will double down on DT. I personally don't wanna go that route. I wanna replace Poole with a CB and then still get Stephens/Hill second. I'm just not all the way in on Bryan.
