Classic Pats

Take a player who can do one thing well, who's being poorly used and is on the outs at another program, then use him for what he's good at. Then once his shtick gets old, dump him/ trade him, and move on to something new.

Rams got hosed.

Rams are trying to replicate Eagles of 2017.

But it aint happening.....that boy GOFF is gonna freakin get pan caked! & a turnover machine.

Most teams figured him out.....by now.

This reminds me of when the Eagles were supposed to be the "Dream Team" with Vince Young. How did that turn out?

Now their earliest pick is in the late 3rd.  They spent a 2nd for one year of Watkins last year, now a 1st with Cooks only having a year left on his rookie deal, and need to pay a bunch of guys in the next couple of years, including Marcus Peters, who they traded next year's second for.

Obviously they're going all in on the short term.  That's quite a gamble with a young QB who has had one successful season, and could very well have a sophomore slump in his second full season of starting.

And it seems like just yesterday Cooks was on his way to NE from NO and there were people out there saying they would go 16-0.  /shrugs

On another note, the Rams done made some odd moves this offseason.

Rams seem to think they are playing Madden

Talking about salary cap complication. The rams are gonna have to be creative extending all these guys

lots of chemistry issues potentially looming with all the new Rams

Man, can you imagine the second guessing around here if we sent Sanu to another team. Must be nice to win all the time no matter what you do. That's why the Pat's always have the draft capitol they do. They can afford to make Mr. Nobody into Mr. somebody and punt him down the road.

Pats fleeced the Rams lmao

Pats gave a first for him a year ago. I think the Pats got fleeced by Taints if they’re moving in already.

and before anyone comments that the Rams pick is higher than pats was, not sure they got chart value to kick the pick down the road a year. (Considering it usually costs next seasons first to get a second this draft)

Reminds me of when Eagles tried to build the dream team a few years back and it blew up in their faces.

They aren’t thinking about resigning these guys, this is totally an effort to go for it this season.

They will have a boatload of FAs after this season that they won’t even try and sign.
