Chandon Sullivan, video won't embed

This last guy has to be one of my favorite talents coming out. Stock fell with his combine, but dude is a monster. He's definitely not a SS, but a viable back-up at every position on the field. Always a threat and has that dog you want in a player. He is falling off draft boards because that 40 is scaring people. All fun mocks aside, I would take this guy as high as the 6th.

Round 1

Da'Ron Payne DT    6'2" 311lbs      Alabama

Round 2

Christian Kirk WR    5'10" 201lbs   Texas A&M

Round 3

Jaylen Samuels  RB/FB/TE   6' 225lbs  NC State

Round 4

Josh Sweat  OLB/EDGE  6'5" 251lbs  Florida State

Round 6

Armani Watts  Safety  5'11" 202lbs  Texas A&M

Round 7

PJ Hall  DT  6' 308lbs  Sam Houston State

Round 7

Aaron Davis  DB  6' 195lbs  Georgia

UDFA

QB Kenny Hill - Texas Christian, RB Martez Carter - Grambling State, FB Ryan Nall - Oregon State, TE Jeb Blazevich - Georgia, WR Robert Foster - Alabama, C Brian Allen - Michigan State, OT KC McDermott - Miami, OG Sam Jones - Arizona State, DE Trevon Young - Louisville, DT Matt Dickerson UCLA, ILB Reggie Carter - Georgia, OLB Matthew Thomas - Florida State, CB Chandon Sullivan - Georgia State, FS Dominick Sanders - Georgia, SS Damon Webb - Ohio State

not for nothing but I would put Carter as your last pick, since Aaron Davis would be easy to get in as a priority udfa, being from Georgia and all.

Thanks bro. It was all based on some mocks made around here. I have to credit @Kayoh for some of these guys I had no clue of.

Yeah, some of these cats around here know these college players a heck of a lot better than I do. I don’t watch a lot of college football nowadays, just don’t have the time.

Armani Watts is finally leaving A&M?!?!?!?! Feels like he was there for 7 years...

Someone will get a good football player in him.

10 o lineman on the roster already but some want more wow.If we did the folks that wanted them would complain about how many holes we still got lol.

If Ragnow, or Clapp fell to our third, or with Clapp, he could potentially fall to our 4th if he is seen as outside the top 5 centers. If Clapp (who did not allow a sack at OG for two straight seasons), fell to our 4th we would be stupid not to consider drafting him and cutting Harlow

That's cool. Either way. I didn't pick them for UGA. I like their game. Remember I'm Crimson.

LOL> I know you are a bama guy coach. My point was since we have the last pick in the draft it makes more sense to draft the guy who has no ties to us. If it went down this way, and we were in the war room, I would advise you that you have a near 100% chance of bringing in Davis as an udfa, because of his ties to Georgia. However if you draft Davis you have a 25% chance(totally pulling out of my arse) to sign any of your first 3 listed udfas.

So draft the udfa listed that is least likely to come to Atlanta, and move your last pick to the udfa pile.

Has nothing to do with talent or scouting, just logistics. Carter would have a dozen or so teams ringing his phone of the hook, and I doubt he is a lifelong falcons fan like Davis is.

No, I caught you. You have a point and I did see that. Carter is also more deserving. I did a Rudy. I have one every year.

I would be very surprised if they do go for any of the above in the draft.

I think carrying that many o-lineman is the FO/Coaches have shown there hand.

There either making a huge push on defense or going up to get a certain guy that's my read on the moves so far.

I think when they get Ryan extended and make a late push for a DT TE or WRer will almost verify what I have mentioned above in my opinion.

I see him as addition to what we have. He's an awesome receiver, blocker, and runner. Can be used in several positions. I see him as the type of player that will change the offense. I have Martez Carter in UDFA.

I like this Carter kid. He has jets and moves.

How could you not like this, thats some prime talent for Quinn to develop.

All I know is this draft seems loaded with talent in key areas of the Falcons needs. Guess it all starts in how the scouts evaluated certain guys, and what Quinn and Dimitroff have seen on film,at the combine and games and how they feel about who they already have on the roster.  We all know every draft more often than not, there are those WTF moments when the Falcons select. Do think though Quinn is pretty good in projecting who he can work with on defense, need the same on offense and special teams for that matter. Would really like a yardage getter at PR/KR after the major needs addressed.

KOG, I thought you weren't high on Payne, much like myself.  I agree that if he's there you just may have to take him, but I'm kinda jumping on the Bryan train myself.

I don't like Taven much either. I like Payne more than Taven. I think you can do more with him overall.
