MoFalconsFan56
I'd like to know what Riley has done to earn his keep on this team tho? Are we seriously playing the age game here? You're gonna pass on a proven player who fits our system like a glove because Duke Riley is younger than him?! Get ******* real

Get ******* real I think you have to give him a reasonable chance. I get it he struggled year 1 and sat the back part of the season for it. Itll be interesting to see how he pans out after another off season. Grades incomplete if you ask me.

I agree that it is incomplete because he's young and I use that as my excuse for Hooper although to compare Riley and Hooper would be comparing apples to oranges. However, we can still use Riley on special teams and the way that we rotate guys means Riley can still learn this system while we have a better LB on the field for the majority of the snaps. I think Riley needs to continue to grow and I think Kendricks would actually nourish his growth instead of being a death sentence for him. Guess who they allowed to walk and plan on extending....... that should tell you who they feel is more important. Poe did not earn the money he signed for in Carolina and it will show. If you really wanted the falcons to pay that to him then that says a lot Lol.. Because of his talent.. You dont start people based on salary. He was aid that because his talent was that of a starter. Breh you sound dumb as **** tryna argue that.. So you're saying just because Poe made more than the Seattle DT is why he started over him not because Poe was better? Why am I going back and forth about this still.. You view the off season however you want dawg stop quoting me because I'm making a point that we need to start looking at replacements for our missing staters and not with rookies picked in the latter picks of each round.. Or window is closing on the offensive side and plug and playing rookies is dangerous.. Have a good one breh breh see you during the season

Knight of God
Since its all coaching I'll tell you what. Trade all the way down until there is nothing but 4th round picks and less. Sign a bunch of UDFA, and we'll just coach em up and wait.

Now Grady gets doubled and game planned for, who's eating up those others? Just from a talent level there is a downgrade at some point when two starters leave. How are you guys arguing that? All I've said is teams are adding pieces and depth and we have not, some as that. One of those starters wouldn't be a starter anymore. Takk was going to replace Clay. So now we're down to one starter and a rotational/depth guys. That's it. It's like this.....can you imagine having an empassioned debate about the #2/rotational DE years ago? I can't. That's where we're at. We're in REALLY good shape but a lot of posters are acting like the sky is falling. It's amazing if you step back and look at this long term. I give Duke a flyer for his rookie season and hopefully he can show improvement this next season before I count him as a liability and/or a wasted draft pick. actually campbell did miss some time his rookie season with an injury....don't remember it resulting in surgery, but he did miss some time

We aren't going to have Matt and Julio and two backs forever. We have a window right now that needs to be utilized.. And still the longer into fa the less there is in the talent pool. So again replacing what we're starters with lesser talent is still a drop off. We're adding rookies into the rotation while Bennet and ngata are coming is a rotational guys on other teams, which would you have
autigerfan
Main things that need to happen for the offense to improve. #1 Better execution and receivers hanging onto the football. #2 Finding ways to get Freeman and Coleman on the field at the same time. #3 Find a quality blocking fullback that can replace what we got from DiMarco. Sark only has control over #2 as far as I can tell.
