D.B.N.
So the eagles whom had “no cap space” just signed yet another DLineman. So Bennett and Nagata are now in Philly. Meanwhile we sit back DO NOTHING. Poe walks to division rival Carolina, and we do nothing to replace him via FA. Relying strictly on the draft is risky business. And we couldn’t even sign a fuggin FB. Smh.

Falconcheff
Last time I looked, our team, as it sits (except the recently acquired OL Ace Fusco), was in the Super Bowl two years ago and the Divisional Round last year; both Bennet and Ngata were couch surfing while our guys were still playing... DonDaLuvMaker
Is Ngata even close to the same player that he was in Baltimore? He is 34 years old now and I haven't heard much from him in a couple of years.

We will draft the players we need. Take a Valium and relax. Its day 2 of free agency!!!

Mathieu can still play at a very high level as a versatile safety and slot corner who isn't afraid to tackle, as he showed late last season. 6 Sheldon Richardson DT Richardson's Pro Bowl talent may be undeniable, but he's totaled just 2.5 sacks in his past 30 games and will be viewed by many teams as a character risk. He's expected to reach the open market. 41 Tahir Whitehead LB Whitehead has been the best linebacker in Detroit the past two years, which speaks more to the Lions' lack of star power than his own prowess as an above-average starter. 50 Preston Brown LB Tailor-made for Sean McDermott's defense, Brown tied for the league lead in tackles last season. That speaks more to the specious value of tackles as a statistic than Brown's impact as a difference-maker. 60 Adrian Clayborn DE His lightning strike of a six-sack game against Dallas shouldn't overshadow the rest of his disruptive 2017 as a pass rusher. 61 Rashaan Melvin CB The quintessential journeyman prior to last season, Melvin emerged as Indy's top cover corner in Vontae Davis' absence. 67 Dominique Easley DT A true wild card, Easley is a first-round talent with major knee issues and a history of tantalizing play in limited snaps. And there's more, many more...players who can help our team without breaking the bank... would rather have one of these guys and resign our own than a high priced primadonna while losing our talented young core... red falcon
I guess you got to take break during the offseason because you constantly get threads about other teams signing and why not us. Its easier when your qb is on a rookie deal. Weve drafted well our window for splash signings is closing.

stizz
Simply put we have too many holes for a draft to fix. Yesterday's signing was a good one, but some variation of dlineman, fullback and tight end needs to be handled before April.

blkbigdog35
I'm concerned that Matt's extension is not signed and what are our plans in addressing the DT spot. I'm all for building through the draft but FA are required to supplement needs on the roster. Let's hope something pops off soon.
