He is DAL property up till 4pm. They just announced he is not being tendered but they hope to resign him back to an affordable multi year deal.

I'd like to take a chance on him.  He looks like he would be a better option in the passing game as well.  Only 20 more minutes and we may find out lol.

That means he's not coming here because we don't have much to spend.... and it's almost 4PM  :)

Y'all gotta realize not everything will get reported. The Falcons are usually super under the radar.

i beg to differ on that, peoples jobs are literally to team report. Whether true or not or verified info youd still hear about rumblings or meetings atleast. Its pretty crazy we havent even heard any visits.. Just departures

Aren't we a bit hamstrung on cap space until MR2 agrees to a new deal, and they can't really discuss terms with any high-dollar FAs until they know their cap space.

Ryan's deal not yet done has little to do with it.

How so?  Would the Falcon's have FA's in for a visit that they can't afford?  Would a FA come for a visit knowing the Falcon's don't have the money to sign them?

That's not how it works, everyone in NFL knows the Ryan deal is just a matter of when.

See also Philadelphia.signings so far. They're gonna have a much more difficult time getting under cap then we would signing whomever..

If you really think a player can help you sign him now, figure out how to get under cap later.

When do teams have to be under the cap?  When a deal is submitted to the NFL is it allowed to put a team over the cap?
