It still doesn’t change the fact that you can’t avoid critical short yardage situations and have to have guys capable of creating the creases needed to convert. I haven’t looked at the numbers, but from what I saw we just weren’t getting it done. More of MR under center and using PA on 1st downs will net is more 1st downs & less 3rd and short. The stats show that our running & passing game are more effective with Ryan under center and using PA.
