I wasn't citing PFF, I posted it. Its different. I hate PFF and everyone knows it. Its not even a secret. We did have a top 10 line though.Nothing I say matters. We are likely to get Wynn and blame whoever else, or pretend its much better no matter what. I personally don't give a crap at this point. It all matters not without a SB and I don't see that happening for a few more years.

Doctor Kildare
Seems to me that with the second best OL in the game that the Falcons would do a better job in short yardage, the red zone and not have to frequently resort to gimmick plays like end arounds and shovel passes inside the ten. TheFatboi
I said a week or so ago we had a top 7/8 line and that’s without the aide of PFF and using my eyes. All you have to do is look at how the running backs played. Like I said before if the backs production dipped then you would’ve had a bad line. Offensive lines are measured by how well you can run the ball. We averaged about the same last season running the ball as we did the SB season. Matt was sacked/hit about the same as well. Ppl are blaming the drop in offensive performance on line play but that ain’t it. We simply just didn’t execute on offense from a player standpoint. Sark being new WAS an issue to some degree but the players left ALOT of plays on the field that were well drawn up plays but poorly executed. Then the drops added on top. Wes started out ruff but smoothed out as the year progressed. It’s funny because you can have a line made up of 5 pro bowlers but you will STILL have a weak link along the line. Weak link doesn’t mean WEAK. It’s just the weakest of a strong unit. Last year Chester was the weak link. Now y’all miss him?? Lol. Did y’all forget that Chester and Wes was in a battle that came down to the wire?? If wes gives us Chester type production that’s a top 5 line. If they stay healthy. We need DEPTH but stop thinking Wes Is up to be replaced already.

He performed like a first year starter to me and got better as the year wore on. Heck he even made PFF as a top OG with an 80+ rating. You talking about THIS Wes Schweitzer? 54th best guard in the league? And they also say we were 12th best in pass blocking and 15th in on pressures/attempt..then how are we the #2 offensive line in the league? I'm not saying they're wrong lol but PFF can be very confusing at times.

I have my own belief on why it "sucks" in the eyes of this fanbase, but with little movement coming in the FA and not really a lot of talent, we are about to draft yet another Guard. Outside of Dallas, and them strictly from a talent standpoint, there are no GREAT lines. Like ours, most have flaws. It’s all about scheme, coaching & continuity

I want help, but I am not against playmakers in those positions.

Knight of God
My list is similar. You know I want a FS pretty bad, but that's just me. Other than that it is the same list. As for CB, I was just looking at Kevin Toliver.
FinalScore2.0
Having top athletes is good but having players that play well as a unit is 10x better. The Patriots don't always have great talent on the Oline, but I admire the way they communicate and play as a unit. That's coaching and a group that have really good affinity. I think Garland would work out better at RG than Wes but I understand the FO likes Wes's youth. I think a bigger concern is the swing tackle, FB and a blocking TE. When Toilolo missed time with an injury the run game sucked and Coleman isn't the answer at FB.
