When did I? And, if so, I’m definitely man enough to apologize

lol are you honestly saying that you don’t insult and get oveRly aggressive with anyone that doesn’t agree with you?

ok, g-dawg. Have a nice day, bud.

You said I was the new FFS1970.  Fairly certain you didn’t mean it as a compliment, right?

This^. I just feel a 3rd round pick is really valuable this year and tougher decisions will have to be made in the near future.

Ultimately if it came down to these 3 scenarios for Bennett:

- Freeman for Bennett and Seahawks 4th round pick

- Coleman and Falcons 7th for Bennett

- Falcons 3rd for Bennett

I’d take the Freeman deal without a doubt at all.

I literally just posted the same bro. We’re not rebuilding and we don’t have holes. We’re in win now mode. Geez we made it to the second round of the playoffs lol. And should’ve won the Philly game. Fans overreact to most things. We’re a good piece or two and better offensive execution away from winning a SB.

I know right. And we did this despite having a possibly devastating to morale SB loss the year before.

Plus, good year to add a mid round OL or DL. Heck even add a FS to compete with rico, or tall CB? Maybe another rb if we don’t want to re-sign teco.

These things are easy fixes. We don’t HAVE to get a OG in the 1st because Wes did decent for a 1st year starter. Levitre’s injury concerned me more than Wes did. I think we go DT in the 1st again and then maybe OG. Unless we get a DT in FA. We don’t have any holes on the team but I see folks talking about the oline like we have holes. We don’t. We have to prepare for levitre’s Replacement and let Wes and the new OG battle it out. Folks seem to think we’ll draft an OG and just toss Wes. That’s not how you build a winner. You create an atmosphere of competition. So whoever we draft there will be a position battle with Wes being the incumbent. The young guy will have to beat him out.

Good post man.

When I posted my response on the previous page I just don't want to help any team out and giving a team draft picks a mid rounder at that helps them lol.I want the strong to get stronger I know Bennett would do that for us.

I had a trade i offered a guy on another site that i thought was solid value.   We traded #90  for #120 and Bennett.   We still get all of our picks + add bennett but we drop from the late 3rd to late 4th with one of our picks.   It's actually about 100 points in value and = to a late 3rd round pick value wise.   I think a late 3rd is pretty fair value for the seahawks considering his age, cap hit, and him not wanting to be there.

I did, actually.

lol you don’t bother me. If I bother you or insulted you. I’m sprry

cool?

Yes, always considered you a good guy.  Still do. We are cool.

We just disagree here.  I wouldn’t mind having Bennett but don’t agree with giving a premium pick.

We’re in such good position we can litteray do everything you said even after losing a 3rd for Bennett.

Because we don’t have any holes or NEEDS. And a SB window is small. We’re in win now mode. The offense will get back to scoring and Bennett improves and already very good defense. I we were a depleted team I wouldn’t do a third. My biggest targets are DT and OG in the 1st and 2nd. Bennett in the 3rd takes care of dline. Get a WR/CB/RB/TE in the 4th or 5th. Losing a 3rd for Benett doesn’t hurt us.

Right now we have a hole at DT and a SB window can pop up out of nowhere as long you keep young talent on your team. Having the mindset that we have a small SB window will cause you to make hasty decisions that will only benefit you in the present and hinder you in the long run. A lot of us have already learned our lesson with that SB window bull and how it F'd us over in 13-15.

I understand that sentiment. At the same time the trade off is they make us better on defense too. That’s a scary defense. Bennett, Beasley, Takk, Jarrett, Crawford, and that’s before the draft if we did that. Plus the fact that Bennett can teach Beasley and Takk. They wouldn’t see how good the 3rd we give them is until the next year or two anyway so we win ASAP.
