g-dawg
Falcons also don’t need to chase past production in free agency. Our hugest mistakes are chasing past production Osi Umenyora Steven Jackson both over 30yrs old - and the previous teams, who knew them best, said “pass”. At the end of the day we always complain about how Smitty only had safe guys with no edge. If he can stay out of trouble in games, I guess I'd be for it. Im starting to think DQ is what kept all those edgy Seahawk defenders humming. Since DQ left Seattle it seems the whole defense are just malcontents

That being said that's probably what is driving these rumors though. It's the easiest scenario to imagine so it's easy filler material for writers to run with in the off season. Probably Too good to be true.. but TD is freeing up cap, and contrary to most of board’s ( not yours) limited Understanding on how cap works, it’s not for Ryan ....so me thinks it’s for either a Bennett/Wilkerson DT type deal or a FA OG... Isn’t he an OC! again, 16 games regularly played. Waiting for the cut could drive up price. Buy him for a mid and you got him, plus he lives DQ dude, he’s way better than clay, and the Seahawks are looking at rebuild. They need picks. Their secondary and OL is horrid and old. Falcons - we need our picks!!! Falcons picks, even late round picks, are even more valuable now white the salary cap crunch and so many young guys on roster up for new deals that Falcons want to retain in the coming years. Falcons need cheap young depth and special teamers now, more than ever.

Amd was a speed guy. Different type of defender. Bennett is is smart, quick off snap and moves inside seamlessly jackson? That was just a dumb move and not even comparable an old game named freeny did well for us

But osi wasn’t that bad if he were just a piece....problem was we had no one else. We've got plenty of talent here to go along with Black Santa.... Wrong scheme and he was just slow

I agree completely here...we’ve got to quit discarding valuable picks like they are throw ins on completing deals... teco for Bennett would be interesting in that he’s most likely gone next year... Meh on a third and 7th...we have three 7ths. Still lots of picks. id rather teco, but then we’re picking a rb too. Which might not be bad

You’re talking speed demons Vic and takk off the edge with Grady and Bennett inside. That’s sick!

I feel the same way I believe Ryan contact is done their just waiting to announce it. I wouldn't mind this money going to the fullback from Dallas Keith Smith and possibly a DT and OG in free agency.
