Well the crazier the trade the better the threads, need some entertainment until the end of March.

This one is actually being reported on.

I see reality in this idea. Seahawks need picks. Might see Earl going away to Dallas too. It’s rebuild time in Seattle

First and foremost you all are seriously underrating our OL.

second, you have plenty of picks.

Third a third and 7th is nothing for a proven upgrade from clayborn

lastly, they are far worse off on OL than us

I am ?? Underrating the OL ?? Qbs and Rbs were hit way too much in the backfield

I love the idea, but a 3rd is a little high. Especially with what Quinn just went for. I'd be okay with a forth though.

Omg, really? So you’d rather have a third round prospect than a proven DL starter with at least three or four years left in the tank?

3 or 4 yrs?  How old is Bennett?  33?  He is not a QB, Bennett is in his decline years - if not this year, then surely next.

Father time is undefeated.   Your 3-4 yr comment is ABSURD.

The scheme itself was a big part of problem. Look at the long developing routes and weird halfback sweep tosses.

re-watch some games, it was just a learning curve. Amd there is no way were blowing up our OL and inserting multiple rookies.

seattle is another level of dysfunction on their OL

I agree. I wouldn’t give up a first or second, but a midround pick? Sure

Bennett and his familiarity with the system and Quinn..... it's just such a natural fit. That being said that's probably what is driving these rumors though. It's the easiest scenario to imagine so it's easy filler material for writers to run with in the off season.

Pro bowl and 8.5 sacks last year. He’s a huge upgrade from clay

youre man crush on Wynn is absurd, but I don’t make fun of you:D

True. We’re also set enough with takk and Beasley to limit his touches, and DQ knows how to use him, as you pointed out

Also part of the problem was lack of Fundamentals. Half the OL had a problem with leverage and balance and using hands.

And why would you trade Coleman when we are trying to win a SB ? That would mess up chemistry greatly. Catching , running but please dont overlook pass blocking. You have seen what can happen. The team needs both Freeman and Coleman to win a SB

He’s also played in 16 games in every season but once since becoming a Seahawks

hes 32. Not absurdly old for a pass rusher, a position that often plays well into late thirties.

so if he plays three to four years, that’s far from absurd

btw when did you transform into FFS1970? You don’t have to be so salty or insulting in every post:D

He’s 32, and had 8.5 sacks last year...

We would only keep him for a couple Years....I think he would help us get over the hump.

I am not married to “Wynn or Bust” and open to other possibilities at #26 as long as it’s not James Daniels.

Yes, Bennett had 8.5 sacks last year, that doesn’t change his age. What is your definition of decline? Do you think it is 1 sack per yr?

I am OK with signing Bennett but I would not trade for him - certainly not giving up a premium pick for a guy that The Seahawks might cut because they have determined he is no longer worth it.

Agree.

depends. I just don’t see teco as that power back. I think we’ve locked ourselves into one very expensive COP back already.

I love teco, but trading him and a 7th for a proven pass rusher is easy for me

I hear you on Teco, it would be a difficult decision to let him go , but...

Pass blocking? Neither of our RBs are very proficient in that part of the Game.

Lol just messing with you. I haven’t really scouted Daniels. What’s the dislike? Isn’t he an OC!

again, 16 games regularly played. Waiting for the cut could drive up price. Buy him for a mid and you got him, plus he lives DQ

dude, he’s way better than clay, and the Seahawks are looking at rebuild. They need picks. Their secondary and OL is horrid and old.
