True. Settle is 3 years younger. The guy is 20 years old. He will have 3 years of NFL experience when he is the same age.
Sandy5prings
Vita Vea is like a Mercedes S class. Tim Settle is a souped up Camaro.

Hopefully it will be a false alarm like Star with the Panthers a few years ago. https://draftwire.usatoday.com/2018/03/03/saturdays-winners-losers-at-the-2018-nfl-scouting-combine/6/ If Hurst has a dysrhythmia, I would draft him in the second. I have not seen a lot of Vea, but from what I have seen, he does not play with great effort.
Smiler11
Don't get the love with Settle, he's a mid round pick for me. So many better DT's in this draft.

No disrespect to Settle but it's a classic fan like here. You'd take Vea all day Settle like yourself doesn't come into calculations for me until the 3rd round and if I'm honest I'd take BJ Hill ahead of this guy aswell. The thing I struggle with with Settle is where do you play him? He's a 3 tech in a 1 tech's body. There are a lot of 3 techs in this draft I'd take over him, even in the mid rounds... Guys like Rasheem Green, Da'Shawn Hand, Andrew Brown and others. If you try and make him play the nose, which isn't a strength of his, he's a long way behind the likes of Vea, Payne, BJ Hill, Nnadi etc.
VTCrunkler
Tim needs major weight management strategies in the next level. If you can keep him unde 330 he would be a fine second rounder.

Doctor Kildare
Vita Vea had fomal interviews with the Rams and Dolphins at Washington's pro day though he did not take part in any on the field work. The Falcons were there to watch those who did particiapte along with most of the NFL.
VTCrunkler
Settle had a terrible pro day today. The VT strength coaches had to cut the workout prematurely.
