The Trump Presidency (take 2)

Ya'll lol. I mean come on. Remember back when it was a "scandal" that Obama bowed to a foreign dignitary and the tea packers all put on their tactical because America was under attack. Now we have a McFilet-sharting Patsy in the white house and just take a moment to realize how much the Patsy (45) has done beyond simply "bowing" to Saudi Arabian interests? The McFilet-Schraeder has gone on to personally protect and defend a journalist-killer and his regime lol. Just take a moment to compare bowing your head to making a vast array of public statements and actions that shield a foreign monarch from American justice lol. I feel bad for these people like W.F.W. and his ilk. These people are sick.

Not to mention that the person he bowed to was the Japanese Prime Minister.

Not as long as Trump is president.

If Manafort is pardoned, he'll no longer be able to benefit from the fifth amendment. He'll then be compelled to spill the rest of the beans or go to jail for contempt. Better than a life sentence (which anything would almost be for a 70+ year old man) but still not good.

And Trump has already shown he's willing to pardon people in contempt of court as well. So the point stands.

He won't be president forever. Unless he is, in which case the Constitution won't matter anyway.

it only takes 5 seconds to pardon manafort, the only issue would be, will manafort's case be resolved by Jan 2020?

Since Twitter meltdowns are a political thing now this feels okay to put in here.

Jay Glazer had a rough day apparently.

It could be due to the content of the spot. Let’s wait to see how other networks react.

“Tax on the beach” is really funny.

But the drawing of AOC seems kind of stereotypical to me.

So sick of the "somebody else will pay for it" smack. As if building a $22 trillion debt is an example of paying for something yourself. Besides, we all pay taxes, so it's not "somebody else". If it was, "somebody else" is paying for corporate tax breaks, price supports, subsidies and other corporate welfare. And nobody else is paying for my 40 years of Social Security contributions.

This manufactured outrage of ilhan is terrible.  People are just trying to avoid talking about the AIPAC and the Iran Contra scandal.

such fecklessness

Oh, that's out of the playbook where we talk about Colin's dirty kneecap instead of the reason why he's down there.
