Joey Votto is out of the lineup today. Snaps a 202 game streak of starting at 1B.

Joey Votto has 12 hits this year and all 12 hits are singles.

Cole K'd 14 on 93 pitches. That's the fewest amount of pitches for that many K's in history.

Wow. That Rangers team is in a boat load of trouble.

A lot of frustration around the league at the weather. There have so far been 0 days where all 30 teams were able to play on the same day. Even in a number of games the weather has been miserable. It's renewed some calls for a shorter season and a later start.

The weather isn't normally like this. This year for some fluky reason the weather has just been awful. It's not always going to be like this but people can't see the big multi-year picture right now.

21 postponements so far. April 2017 had only 12, 2016 had 11. MLB record is 26 back in 2007. Looks like they're going to reach that mark.

Josh Reddick doubles and there goes the no-hitter.

Thanks gawd. I was afraid I would have to go watch Bartolon Colon pitch.

First off, how in the world does the ball move like that? Second, how in the world is this called a strike?

3 more postponed games today bringing the April total to 24.

The Royals at Blue Jays game was postponed after falling ice from the CN Tower put a hole in the roof. The only other postponement in Rogers Centre history happened in April 2001 when the roof got stuck open and wouldn't close. That was also against the Royals. This comes just a day after the Blue Jays twitter mocked bragged about games not being postponed in Toronto because they play in a Dome after the last two games of the Blue Jays series in Cleveland were postponed.

That's why you hate the shift. That is a hit for Brandon Belt thanks to the stupid shift and that ends Patrick Corbin's no-hitter.

Would he have had the no-hitter going without the shift?
