Takeaways from the game.

First we won so that is most important

That game was sloppy all around F Thursday Night Football.

Saints had a lot of players hurt we will see how that impacts the rest of the season.

Stop griping about Julio not getting the ball you see what happen when Matt tries to force the ball to him.

Terrible game management by Dan Quinn

  1. First during the end of the first half with the clock management
  2. Not taking the penalty to push the Saints back.

Throw the ball to the running backs more and design specific plays to get them the ball in the open field that I think will really open the playbook.

Correction. Saints didn't have a lot of hurt players. Falcons beat the crap out of the Saints; thus the hurt players.

Yep, DQ needs to take a clock management course

SARC was the wrong choice 4 OC, you could see Julio complaining about the play saying, I told them it wouldnt work!

Stop blaming the FANS, we brought the noise.  When you lose, its on you Quinn!

We need a power runner or SARC needs to change his offense.

We need a good TE that strikes fear into defenses.

last takeaway, good job winning the game!

The weird thing is ... we actually dominated the game, except for the interceptions. Ryan had some terrible throws  -- all the interceptions weren't his fault, but he still had some awful, awful plays.

But aside from that, our D stopped them a number of times, and our O drove down the field a number of times.

If we can ever shake the "curse" or "hangover" or whatever, and stop getting weird luck, we could be really good.

Ryan had some good plays, too. But yeah, if the O can play like they are capable of and the D keeps playing they way they have we have a good shot.

This. We came with our lunch pail and played our game. We roughed them up. Guys were making solid legal hits and the aints weren't ready for a heavyweight match.
