This was a huge blow to the Saints chances of getting a higher seed if they do go on to win division  (now lose tie breakers to Vikings & Rams, aren't likely to catch Eagles)

They won't be able to ride superdome crowd in playoffs like they did in 09'

The NFC is really weird right now. The Eagles have a great record but are also facing some of the worst divisions: NFC East, AFC West and NFC West. Next two weeks will tell us a lot about this team with games at Seattle and LA.

When the top teams in the divisions play the road team tends to lose.

LA@Minn 27-7
NO@LA 26-20
NO@Minn 29-19

I might just be a Falcons fan but this conference still seems pretty wide open. There doesn’t seem to be all that much separating everyone.

While I am obviously biased, it probably would be better for the Saints to lose for you guys.

You only play the Panthers once. You play the Saints twice.

Doesn’t matter who loses. If we win the rest of our division games we win the division. Easier said than done. Now for seeding, it would be better for the Saints to win to push the Panthers back to the six seed, if we were to win agaisnt the Vikings and the Panthers the last game of the season.
