ike barn87987
A berth in the SEC Championship Game will be at stake on Saturday when Alabama visits Auburn for the 82nd edition of the annual Iron Bowl. Scouts from seven NFL clubs will be on hand to watch the bitter rivalry with more of a long-term eye, specifically for future NFL drafts. Among the top draft prospects to watch include Alabama DT Da'Ron Payne, DB Minkah Fitzpatrick and WR Calvin Ridley, while the Tigers will feature QB Jarrett Stidham, OG Braden Smith, the SEC's leading rusher in RB Kerryon Johnson, as well as one of the nation's elite kickers in Daniel Carlson. Here's the list of teams credentialed to attend, per Auburn: » Falcons » Bills » Browns » Colts » Rams » Raiders » Steelers http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000881481/article/browns-among-7-nfl-clubs-scouting-alabamaauburn-game They forgot about CB Carlton Davis from Auburn

No one else worth watching 5 times Tbh, I'd be down with this. He's been falling on a lot of draft boards (like, falling to late 2nd and sometimes even worse) but I still think NFL teams probably have high 1st round grades on him. But if he does fall...he reminds me a bit of Favre or Roethlisberger when he's on...with ugly shades of Paxton Lynch when he's off. Coming in and being able to sit with Ryan ahead of him for a few years would be terrific. Set us up long term. He has all the potential in the world. Good character and maybe the best arm in the draft, especially on the run. Evades pressure, keeps his eyes downfield...needs to slide more/have better ball security, and people will hate some of the gunslinger mentality, but I love his playstyle. I know that won't be a popular opinion, though.

For the record I'm not saying we should pick him or any QB for that matter. Jokingly I stated that there was no one on that Wyoming team outside of Allen worth watching on 5 separate occasions. I do like Allen though. I prerer him over both Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold.

Just finished watching Allen. He's Matt Ryan except he has much more mobility and escapability. He's the perfect heir apparent to Ryan. If they took him in the 1st, I wouldn't be mad. Colin_Pernett
Josh Allen huh? That’s weird. If he falls, it’ll be the best for him to sit for a long time behind a very good QB. I don’t like him, but he’s got the tools. If he is given the keys to a franchise, I have very little doubt he will be a huge bust. But he could be something here. Now if we drafted Lamar Jackson, who we have seen at Louiseville, I’d be over the moon. I really like Fumagalli from Wisconsin. He’s a pretty good blocker and has great hands. He’d let us dump Toilolo’s contract and get a much better receiver.

Unless it’s Quentin Nelson. The kid is as good as I’ve seen. So good that we might have to do a Julio type trade to get up that high. That’s not going to happen, nor do I want it to. But the fact that a guard is that highly regarded says a lot. Tbh, I’m fine rolling with what we have a guard. It worked fine, and there’s only a couple guys I’ve seen so far that I think could set in and do better.
