The Turning Point??? Finally a decisive dominating total team victory in a huge moment for the Falcons

Is this finally the turning point in tbe 2017 Sarkasian/Quinn Falcons we had dreamed of ???

We finally put it all together today with coaching , playcalling and extreme player effort and focus on the field.  A dominating victory which hopefully starts a new trend throughout the rest of this season. If we can keep playing at this level and  win all remaining games in our division against the Aints,  Panthers and Bucs then we can still win the division

The turning point was our great defense and Freeman going out. I love Devonta Freeman but when he went out, it forced Sark to quit trying to run it up the middle on almost every first down situation putting the Falcons in the hole again and again. Sark finally had to get creative with play calling on all four downs and had to run Coleman outside instead of inside where almost EVERY team has been stuffing us on first downs. I hope Devonta gets well soon but if he's out for the Seattle game, let's see if Sark continues to mix up plays on all four downs. If so, we win big. My fear is that when Devonta returns, Sark also returns to the run up the middle on first down for little gain. Regardless, great game and great play calling...finally!

The fat lady was all warmed up.

Today was absolutely vital to have ANY hope for the rest of the season.

Win in one of the toughest road environments on MNF next week, and my faith in this season will officially be renewed.

That win would give us the head to head tiebreaker over Pack, Lions, Cowboys, and Hawks.

If we can sustain today's play, we're not even out of the division race just yet, but those tiebreakers sure are key when it comes to a WC.

One thing at a time ...

And Seattle can be had......even with Sherman the cards had open receivers all over the place....Stanton missed them or they dropped it....if we can avoid those  as we have mostly for 2 out of 3 games we should move the ball well against them

Do you have zero control of your emotions or are you just the biggest flip flopper of all time?

there's a few others here who give him a good run for his money. heck one of them has a thread on the front page where he's positive AND negative throughout the thread.....talk about a no control flip flopper  ;)

If they have any playoff aspirations I don’t see them being able to lose more than one or two more games at the most with the way the season has gone. New Orleans made a complete 180.

Completely agree.

As much as it pains me to say it, at this point, there's a very real chance we'd have to run the table to overtake the Saints and win the division.

Football is strange and a lot can happen so I'm not conceding the division just yet. But definitely tracking our wildcard chances very closely ...

They are only two games ahead, so I don't think we'd have to win out, but we do need to sweep them. That would us give the tie-breaker and even out the record.

I don’t know what happened to the Bills but they’re not the same team as when they played us. I still can’t tell whether the Saints are frauds or not but I can tell you that with those two running backs they look like a real contender.
