D.B.N.
He deserves an extension purely off this performance.

ya_boi_j
No he doesn’t, not off this performance . Had it been against Smith then I can agree with that.
SamMills51
Geez seeing Byron Bell get a chance at LT gave me flashbacks I did not want to see.
SamMills51
But wow. One game puts him with 8 sacks on the season. That’s crazy.
Jesus
Sometimes I thought he has looked slow out there. This week he looked incredible.

This is no different than Beasley’s performance against Denver last year. Dude had 2 sacks prior to this game. 2. You can’t get all those sacks in one game and ignore the fact they hardly had any prior to.

That still doesn’t mean he deserves an extension based on a performance against a 6th stringer

Didn't you just say in another thread that we probably wouldn't even get pressure on him? Then Clay gets 6 sacks which is unreal doesn't matter who it's against and you disregard it. When healthy, Clay’s one of our better defensive players.
Knight of God
I don't care who they are against, how you get them, or what. Great job and many fans on this board hate playmakers and wins.
Black Francis
Clay came into this game with feelings.
Intellectually Honest
If only Clayborn can go against every opposing teams back up LT and he might be All-World. I am glad he did well and made the most out of the situation.
falcndave
Okay, Clayborne was a stud. No doubt about it. That said, what was the Dallas coaching staff thinking: "Put him back out there, Dak can take it!" Literally any warm body would have been better. Heck, our RG was a problem in the run game, but even he was better at pass blocking today.
