It's no surprise that the 2017 Saints are playing like the 2016 Falcons or 2015 Panthers used to play. The 2015 Panthers was the 20th anniversary of their inaugural season in 1995. The 2016 Falcons was the 50th anniversary of their inaugural season in 1966. The 2017 Saints is the 50th anniversary of their inaugural season in 1967. Also, the Saints' 2017 AFC East schedule matches their 2009 AFC East schedule, and the Saints' 2017 NFC North schedule matches their 2011 NFC North schedule. 2009 and 2011, the previous 2 times they won the NFC South. It's like an alignment or something. The Saints always play well in AFC East years, just like the Falcons always play well in AFC West years.

Drew Brees is getting old, the Saints defense is horrible, Sean Payton is getting old, they've missed the playoffs 3 years in a row, they've been 7-9 for 3 straight seasons and 7-9 for 4 out of the last 5 years, blah blah blah, they should do worst in the NFC South, and look what happening. The previous 2 teams in the Super Bowl era who started 0-2 and won 6 straight, won the Super Bowl, which were the 1993 Cowboys and 2007 Giants. 10 years later, 2017 Saints included, and with the NFC South going to the previous 2 Super Bowls. Why should we doubt the Saints now.

2016: Now this is most people LAST YEAR, including half of the Falcons fan base: Matt Ryan is horrible, we should trade him, he's missed the playoffs 3 years in a row, that schedule is so brutal we will do the worst in the NFC South this year, like 5-11, and guess what happened for us last season.

2015: Carolina was 7-8-1 last season, now NO ONE would have thought they'd go 15-1, **** no, nobody.

This has been the NFC South every year since 2002, the team who's picked to do the worst will always go to first, so will it be the Buccaneers next season? Or will the Falcons rebound and go to the Super Bowl in their home stadium?

If Aints make a serious Superbowl run not 1 year after we choke 28-3....**** it, I'm out. This shyt can only be some sick Truman show style game designed to push me over the  edge.

Considering the Panthers and Falcons were 2 NFC South teams the previous 2 seasons, and the Saints could pull a '93 Cowboys or '07 Giants after starting 0-2....

The Philadelphia Eagles are our only hope, and it pains me to say this cause I hate the Eagles too.

You can't say that, these people are too sensitive to this type of stuff. They believe everything that we are told by rich people is true.

Meanwhile the Steelers are losing to Indy. Any given Sunday. Every good team doesn’t blow out a weaker team every week in the NFL. This ain’t college. Plus we gave the game to the Bills. We beat ourselves. Saints are doing what we should be doing. Protecting the ball and being efficient. Brees doesn’t even have 200 yards passing. When good teams don’t turn the ball over they win. Until we stop shootings ourselves in the foot we’re not a good team. The saints copied us with a 2 headed monster in the backfield and Not putting every game in Brees hands.

Also, in the same season the '93 Cowboys and the '07 Giants won 6 straight after starting 0-2, both teams also happened to have the AFC East on their regular season schedule, and they beat an AFC East team in the Super Bowl after losing to that team in the regular season. Obviously the NFC South is playing the AFC East this year, and if the Patriots are the favorites to go back to the Super Bowl, it'll be the Saints vs. Patriots rematch from the regular season. The Saints would be in white (road) jerseys and Patriots would be in their blue (home) jerseys.
