Faithful Falcon
Go for it. The only problem is that they're not disclosing his injury.

slamee101
I'd kick the tires. His heart doesn't seem like it was in it but I'm sure a big part of coming to GB was getting to play with A. Rodgers and after he went down I'm sure he wasn't amped to be playing in an offense that wasn't featuring him heavily anyway. I like Bennett but he is not one to keep quiet if he's unhappy and with the state of things on our team right now I don't know that someone with little to no filter is what we need. TalentedMrRidley
He's never been a great player. Its called the Tom Brady effect. He was underwhelming with Dal, Chi, and now GB. We already have enough disappointments this year. I don't think we can handle anymore. This is coming from someone that thinks Hooper has been terrible this year. Problem was that his heart did not seem in it when Rodgers was still playing either. He should of have some monster games being the go to TE, but it never happened. jeffro2000
He is talking about retiring, so he is probably done. Also, he is overrated by the media. He and his brother are outspoken so they stay in the news a little bit. (Nothing wrong with that. I like both) And, he has played for 4 of the 5 NFL media darlings which is also why he is so we'll known. Dallas, NYG, NE, GB. Also, Chicago may stink but always have several PT games because of the market. He is a big reason media was touting GB this off-season and he is no better than Cook. He may be better than Hooper though, but I don't think he can make a quick impact here. Edited November 8, 2017 by jeffro2000

And I wouldn’t categorize 2nd year TE Hooper as “terrible” this year either. The kid’s been up and down...shown some good and some bad....things 2nd year TE’s normally do. E. T.
Can he get to the opposing teams quarterback and get our defense off the field on 3rd downs? Then no. TE in my opinion is not a need right now.

Butudontseeme™
Nobody wanted Hooper replaced when he body slammed that Chicago defender for an 80 yd TD and did it again for another 30 the next drive.
falconsd56
If his shoulder is ok then sure.... Maybe he could be a good influence on Hooper interms of catching and blocking.

True.....he is taking his lumps now....but having another vet in the room is never a bad idea. If he is healthy then he is worth a looksy

No but he can help our offense stay on the field on third down keeping the other offense on the sideline and letting our pass rushers rest.....it is not need but we can use some help
