mattyicefalcon
Next 2 games - starts with Cowboys (5th seed) & Seattle (6th seed) Are MUST win games. Next 4 - 5 are HOME games. TIME is now for the falcons to showcase what they are really made for. Was it just all talks? Or they, really have burning desire to get back being a contender? Fingers X! Waitng to Rise Up! Embracing the suck!
Lethal
It's the same talk every week. MAYBE THIS IS THE WEEK! THIS IS OUR BREAKTHROUGH GAME! MUST WIN! Im over it tbh I don't trust this team to beat the Jets so I sure don't trust them to beat the likes of Cowboys, Seahawks, Vikings, Saints etc. Lost season man, better to not get your hopes up. I did and it bit me in the butt. This just isnt the year sadly. Edited November 7, 2017 by athell

Sponge
There is a chance they could finish 12-4 but optimism is really low at the moment.
CrimsonFalcon
I'm optimistic about the team until we're mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. We could go on a run and take control of our own destiny. Look at the Stains, 6 wins in a row. It's possible.
Sui_Generis
Who knows. That's the beauty of football. Teams have started out like the Falcons and won the whole thing. They have also missed the playoffs or snuck in and got bounced the first game. No one knows. We all have seen hot teams run through the league only to get bounced in the playoffs as well like the Cowboys did last year. Nobody truly knows until it happens. I won't get too up or down. I am enjoying the ride even if I do not like what I see out of this team right now.

That's the thing, we could and should beat everyone we face but the one team that has our number over and over again is..................ourselves. Until they can show me they can not play boneheaded, uninspired football, I'm not putting much stock into this team. I don't know what is going on this year, Julio dropping a wide open TD is a perfect microcosm of this season, but this team is just off and continually tripping over their own feet. We are halfway through the season, at some point we go from "maybe this is the week they correct it" to "maybe this is just who we are". octoslash
Who coaches the coaches? That's the problem. Bad leadership and fear of discipline.
4dabirds
The Falcons are a 6-10 maybe 7-9 team this year.

Self inflicted wounds man. They ARE better than their record, but they just cannot get out of their own ways. Very frustrating to watch a team this talented underachieve. Very frustrating to watch a team this talented underachieve. This. They have had to adjust to Sarkisian, but on top of that there so many mental mistakes it's astonishing. Every play someone makes a mistake. It's not just one player.
