TheDirtyWordII
Dr. Chao believes Julio dealing with High Ankle Sprain... For those that follow Chao, guy used to be team doctor for Chargers. Does a really good job of diagnosing injuries only by watching video (for example, JJ Watt and his Tibial plateau fracture)... Either way, not good news. TheUsualStuff
Q: Does Julio catch with his ankles? A: Looked like it on Sunday! Edited November 7, 2017 by TheUsualStuff
PeytonMannings Forehead
His ankle got turned pretty bad in the first quarter but if it was a high ankle sprain then he's the toughest motherf***** on this team by a mile because guys don't play with high ankle sprains. That usually has you laid up for weeks.
sdogg
More like butter fingers and lack of focus. But the entire team lacks focus. Still trying to win
Mescalito
I watched the replay of the play he got hurt on and it looked like his ankle got bent at a horrible angle. They didn't say anything about it on tv. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it's a high ankle sprain.
Malachore
I'm getting so tired of who you always being hurt with something he has to be the most fragile person on Earth.
TheUsualStuff
I agree with PMF about him being tough, especially if this is true that he played through one. It seems though that he deals with a bum ankle every year... always at 80% instead of 95.. and his production despite it shows how great he really is. Sandy5prings
Julio is one of the toughest SOBs on the planet. If it's humanly possible, he will play.

Because that sometimes takes him off the field in important situations. It seemed like he never ran more than one player yesterday after taking that hit before he would come off the field again. I remember him missing a pretty crucial third down that we didn't get then then we had to go to 4th Down. That's when he dropped the pass. He went out with broken screw in his foot and went deep for 40+ Drop or not ....he is a beast

FalconJim
Yeah, it's scary to think what JJ would be like, if 100% healthy!!! Unfortunately, it seems like he's got something going on almost every week, though. Still a BEAST!!! And personally, I think all those safeties and DBs are trying to hurt my man, by tackling him from behind and making sure they're falling on his feet and legs. I guess that's the only place they can tackle him, since he's always in front of their slow a$$....LOL! Get well soon, Julio --- we need ya', man... rowdy_84
He's always goin to deal with injuries. Humans his size weren't meant to run and change direction as fast as he does. Especially on artificial turf that has no give.
Tribal Chief
Yet he wants to play hero and give a thumbs up to the sideline. Be smart Quinn. Your star players health is more important than anything. Same goes for julio

But assuming he came off the field because of the injury and not the personnel package is just speculation.

nomak
TD let me say this once more. Trade Julio for a top tier right tackle/guard and a 2018 1st and 4th round pick. Thanks!
peachy15
Julio should have took up golf. To injury prone.
kiwifalcon
But some idiot one of our very own fans started a thread calling him over rated. Heck we even had fans who had thoughts of trading him. Man we had others who think they can find talent like Julios at the $2 shop and cried like babies when we paid him. If we are throwing stones please stay away from glass houses.
Mega Flare
If JJ ends up face down in the endzone again, coach is going to make him grab his ankles.
