Actions speak 100x more than words - Matt Ryan stuffing his shirt with towels during Jets game - nothing shows more about his desire to win.

Only shows me a lack of preparation by our coaching staff. Everyone knew the weather was gonna be chit. They should have practiced in a similar environment. I didn't see McCown having to put a towel in his jersey and he was shredding our secondary with some crappy weapons.

Quinn said they played with wet balls all week.  :D.  Seriously though, he said that.  They prepared, but shyte happens... as we all know as Falcons fans.

They did...theres an article about it.  What the jets did was a slow snap.  Where the center holds the ball in his hand longer.

That's how Grady intercepted the snap on the last play.  There's an article about that as well.

Whatever we did in practice clearly wasn't good enough. We had like 5 botched snaps to the Jets 1.

If you think we did enough in practice then we should have used a slow snap. Either way we messed that up.

Well maybe they should have practiced kicking field goals in the rain, and catching punts.

The rain messed both teams up.  Hard to simulate several inches of rain on hours

Yeah they should have. But there is a big difference in muffing a punt and botching 4 snaps. Should have prepared better. Whether it be in practice or with a different snap. Or with using more shotgun.

34 yds on the last drive. 250 on 33 attempts isn't shredding anyone sorry. Stop overstating.

Last drive? That last drive doesn't mean crap when we are talking about a QB shredding a team. He could have passed for 500 yrs, but if he only had 34 yards on the last drive then that takes away from how he played before? Completing 26/33 passes is shredding a secondary. Lol not sure if serious.

You also didn't see McCown and the Jets winning the game either. Ryan improvised to get the job done.

26/33 257yds 2TD's in a rainstorm. Shredded.

I wouldn't say Ryan shredded the Jets either. However, he did make some very good throws under pressure and in ****** conditions. Lesser QBs would have folded up their tent and gonethe**** home.

If all we looked at was completions then Sam Bradford was the best QB in the league last year.

I agree Ryan played well. His completion percentage wasn't as high s McCown, but he had almost identical yards on 8 less completions. Also have to keep in mind Ryans' weapons are significantly better than McCowns.

My issue is the botched snaps. Not Ryans play.

That's why I said McCown and Jets. Read it again and maybe 3 more times and you'll get it.

Who cares about McCown in the Jets? I care about us not botching snaps. I don't have the "oh well we won the game anyways" mindset that you have. We shouldn't have botched that many snaps. Period.
