Our biggest need is a RG (Wes Schweitzer replacement). What r your thoughts on our biggest needs before the trade deadline?

Offensive line. I've been saying this for years. It's not just to get a replacement for WS at RG, but some of them are aging, and this team lacks depth at blocking badly. The Falcons rest on Ryan to go anywhere and Ryan's success is built on the OL. He was never a scrambler, and he needs a good pocket to be successful.

?...OL is a strength of this team, IMO.

fix whatever’s aging in next year’s draft.

Strength of the team? Are you kidding me?

Me kid about our OL? Never...

C mack and RT Schrader are arguably the best in nfl at their positions. Levitre is quietly having a nice year. Jake is not near as bad as this board tries to make him out to be. And Wes is a 1st year starter who is two-steps forward/one Back but trending upwards. Toilolo is one of best blocking TE’s in football.

we have a couple needs, but OL isn’t one of them. The fact is it’s a top 10 NFL.

You are living in the past. I am talking about 2017 not 2016.

So you want to replace our qb too?

Depends on who they would be replaced with. I am open to any upgrade, but obviously some are more important than others. Ryan needs a clean pocket to succeed. I want the team to improve and that starts with the weakest link. I don't think Ryan is the weakest link. Right now the RG is. I honestly don't think Wes good enough to be a backup for most teams. Guy is horrible to run behind and struggles in pass protection also.

So it all depends what the Falcons would get for any hypothetical trade. A Super Bowl is more important to me as a fan than any individual awards. Falcons OL are not a top 10 unit. They WERE a top 10 unit, and that was primarily due to being healthy all year. I doubt they are in the top half in the NFL now.

I have no idea why we didn’t go after Bowman.

I do I think they like Deion Jones that much they also like Devondre Campbell and they don't want to bring a guy in to take these guys reps.

Bowmans a great player but I don't think he is what he was a couple of seasons back.

he's given up 2 sacks this season and when the game slows down the penalties will stop, but complaining about Wes at this point is just people complaining just to have something to complain about

but that's all some people CAN do, is complain. I mean there are posters here who've been here 8-9-10 years with few just a few posts in that time, and mostly they only complain something. Like its their calling or something. I mean we all need to complain sometimes, but good grief we post other stuff too.... But hey, we need a diverse makeup here, y'all would get tired of my 3rd grade humor if that's all there was to read here, I suppose  ;).

Now, off to find some new jokes about batteries.......

I hope we make a move at guard.  Wes needs to be a back up.  Other than that,  I think we are good to go.  I'm satisfied with all our positional players now that duke Riley isn't playing.  We also might need a legit tight end.  Hooper isn't consistent.  A lot of drops.

So guard and te our biggest needs.

Wes is actually playing as well as you’d expect a first year starter to play. Coleman’s Big run came off Wes.

Coleman's big run came off of himself. Did u see how flexible and explosive he Is? Don't credit Wes. I feel like if MR had a little bit more time to throw it would help us out a lot.

I think offensive line is our biggest need.

How many times has MR been sacked cause of Wes? The answer is a lot. MR always panics because he has no trust in the offensive line. That sucks for a QB.

What's more sad is we probably will resign Jake Matthews but I think he's been playing a lot better as of late. We shall see what the final numbers from him is, I'm guessing we will overpay for Jake Matthews.

I cannot say the same for Wes. He's the weak link in our oline.

And I am a hardcore falcons fan. That is y I am so critical of them because I expect the best out of my falcons. Fumbling 5x is unacceptable and should be been changed to shotgun after the 2nd lost fumble .that is on the OC
