TheRidder
No Penalty on the Alford Int erases 7 points off the board. no missed or blocked field goal add 6 points Get that goal line TD. Punt and don’t allow a TD before the half or just give up a FG. Erase 4 at least or erase 7. Falcons 20 Patriots 12 or even 9. I don’t know if we were going for revenge rather than just focusing on the simple things. Been shooting ourselves in the foot all year and beating ourselves no team has actually just beat us flat out we played a big part in each loss. Here’s to hopefully turning it around this season. Jesus
The offense used to carry this team. Now it doesn't. All the pieces are there, so the issues make no sense. I think the problem is that the players aren't entirely comfortable running this offense. Why are so many plays taking so long to develop? Where are the quick passes to the receivers? Why is no one getting open? It's like this offense has taken all the worst bits of the last 4 offenses and cut out all the good bits and that's the playbook. The team no longer plays fast and with confidence. Sure they could execute more but they don't seem to like or understand what they are executing. Yup. We are our own worst enemy. The troubling part is that trend shows no signs of stopping.

octoslash
And if the Patriots all contracted botulism at the pregame meal we probably win too. But none of that happened, and the bad news is, the Falcons are getting worse, not better. They played bad against Buffalo, then choked up a giant hairball vs Miami...and last night, after a decent quarter +...just fell apart again. They look like they don't even want to be there, and that's the most bothersome thing.

socalriseup
offense would be light years better if matt's throws are just accurate. we had open guys all game long.

I want to know why those were dead accurate passes in the last year but now are misses. It has to be something in practice they aren't doing. coastiemike
Except the Patriots took their foot off the gas in the 3rd. So, it doesn't turn out that way. Patriots score three more TDs last night if they really wanted to.
FalconMama
It's hard to think about but maybe Shanahan play designs masked a lot of Ryan's weaknesses. I know Sark sucks as a play caller but Matt is playing bad football and Sark isn't to blame for that. I'd hate to say 2016 was a anomaly but it's starting to look that way.
