Patriots LBs Overmatched

I expected this game to be 'The Big One' for the early season.

I did not expect it to be the one that could kill the entire year though.  And it is.

If the Falcons lose tonight, their season is effectively over, because they blew the Buffalo and Miami games.  Those are the games that will put a fork in them, not New England.  With the schedule coming up, they simply could not afford two home losses to supposedly inferior teams.

Because he made a sack in a situation in which the Patriots were playing pass all the way, he is not a liability in coverage?

You had great comments, well thought out ... thanks for posting!   Hightower was a coverage liability in the Super Bowl and our coaches didn't exploit it and take advantage of it.  Not overly optimistic this game either.

Getting past this game will save the season, win or lose. This game has been the game that has blurred the focus to this point. The only game the team seemed focused for was the rematch with the Packers. Once we get past this one, there is nothing left to steal the focus other than the next opponent.  3-3 with a 3-0 conference mark wouldn't kill the entire year imho.
