Tandy
Saw where they may be back for the game - and for practice. Will try to find the link https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2017/10/18/16495246/falcons-will-get-mohamed-sanu-courtney-upshaw-back-in-practice-today?utm_campaign=thefalcoholic&utm_content=entry&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook Photo by Elsa/Getty Images I think we all need some good news this week. Let’s start with this: The Falcons will have Courtney Upshaw and Mohamed Sanu on the practice field today, and there’s at least a chance one or both will suit up against the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Follow Wendy Adams ✔@wendyradio #Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn tells @929TheGame that both Courtney Upshaw and Mohamed Sanu will be back at practice today. 8:20 AM - Oct 18, 2017 I did not think I’d be quite this excited to get these two guys back, but their absences have helped to highlight their value in unexpected ways. The offense has faltered for many reasons, but Sanu’s reliability and ability to work his way open on shorter routes helped keep the offense humming, and the team has struggled to make anyone else work as a #2 with him out. Upshaw, meanwhile, is a massive upgrade as a run defender over the likes of Joe Vellano and Taniela Tupou, who have been pressed into action thanks to injuries. Sanu had two grabs for 25 yards in the Super Bowl against the Patriots but will almost certainly be more productive if he plays this Sunday, given the struggles of this New England defense. Upshaw sacked Tom Brady the last time these two teams played, and I certainly hope he’ll be able to do that again. Stay tuned for Friday’s injury report, which should give us a better idea of who is going to play. Getting Sanu and Upshaw back would be huge. Flyin' In DC
I think LaRoy Reynolds practicing again is huge as well. I hope he can get back in the next week or 2 so he doesn't miss the whole season
FentayeJones
Looks like Laroy Reynolds may be back soon also - he's been cleared to practice and can return week 9.
socalriseup
being able to rotate laroy in if others are struggling will be huge
lostnmexico
We definitely need Sanu back. He is such a key contributor to basically everything we do on offense. Good news on LaRoy too but I like Jordan Tripp. That may get Jermaine Grace sent to the PS.
Jesus
Hope it matters. This is the game they all circled on their calendars before the season started.
WCFalcon
I love Laroy's aggressive play style and he is very fast. I'm sure he'll get some looks against the Patriots, as he did play a decent amount last season. Rotate Laroy, Devondre, and Deion.
