atlndvd
The fact is, despite the limited sample size, Sark appears to have been a bad hire. And if things don’t improve, then I’m going to question Quinn as well. As others have said, great motivator, but he keeps making the same mistakes

And Sark is running basically the same thing. It’s the wrinkles that make them look different. The system is the same, the philosophies are similar, it took year two the last time too

etherdome
99% of people posting on these boards hated Shanahan in his first season. The offense was inept, and it looked a lot like the offense we are seeing now. The team will adapt to Sarkisian's scheme. I'll write the same that I wrote two years ago: Be patient. If he wasn't a fraud, then he could use anyone and produce the results he got last year. FRAUD!!!! Uh.... that's not at all how the NFL works, this implies the talent of players doesn't matter or who you have playing for you,

Mid-Nite-Toker
I'm seeing poorer execution, play calling isn't that bad. Give Sark a chance.

We start slow for some reason. Remember it was after the loss to KC in late November last year when we cranked it up. In short, its too early to tell or make any determinations right now. Just have to hope things settle in and click. Most on this board are already throwing in the towel. Typical Atlanta fans. Yes, we’ve been lackluster the past two games but we did play against two top ten defenses. But that not excuse. We should have put away when we had them on the ropes. I do feel with any new coordinator, you’re going to have growing pains. It has seemed that way with Sark, but it does seem more lack of execution than anything else. Although, only one of Matt’s interceptions were truly his fault. Too many tipped balls from usually sure handed receivers. I believe that things will settle down, gel and become a top 5 offense when all is said and done.
abstract
Our Oline, RB’s, and WR’s have been missing blocks left and right. Matt Ryan isn’t as comfortable as we was last year and is over throwing people. Our receivers are dropping balls and tipping passes at an alarming rate. There have been times this year that I’ve cussed at the screen because of a bad play call that resulted in a TFL, but there are a lot of other things that need to change before this offense performs like we expect it to. Yeah, main problem has been lack of focus....some of which is coaching, but much of which is on the players.

I’ve never loved shotgun in the NFL. Brady & Manning made it popular, but Ryan is better with play action and it’s far more effective under center IMO
