We lost this game almost exactly how we lost the Super Bowl

It's too late to say there's no hangover. It's in our heads for sure. Evidently we haven't learned a **** thing:

Refusal to commit to the run game when you have a huge lead.

Stupid offensive holding penalties taking us out of FG range.

Breakdown of pass protection in the 2nd half, both physical AND mental.

Unnecessary defensive penalties keeping opponent's drives alive.

It's all there folks.

We'll see if this team really wants it next week. Cause there is simply NO reason not to be incredibly motivated and prepared for what we're about to face. 28-3 is now front center headlines again and there is NO hiding from it.

We had 2 drives killed where we ran the ball in the 3rd quarter.  One on a penalty, the other on a 3 and out (on a run play).

Yeah, we didn't run the ball enough.  But at the end, when we finally managed to get a drive going, we were playing from behind and against the clock.  The stat sheet doesn't show everything.

Yep, it was SB 51, all over again!  Disturbing, we can't learn from the mistakes of last year, huh?  I mean, all we had to do was run the frickin' ball a couple of times, kick the field goal, and head to overtime --- a whole new ball game!

But NO, we have to get fancy and throw the friggin' ball into double coverage, and voila, an interception to end the game....smfh!
