shc
Looks like we took to that slogan in the wrong way. I'll be the first to say, both of our losses were partly or directly related to bad officiating, but we still have had plenty of uninspired/flat play that could have easily overcome that. The officiating did not help, but it took a team effort by the Falcons to lose this game.

Sidecar Falcon
As it stands right now, I’d be hard pressed to see us going anywhere beyond a 9-7 record this season, unless serious adjustments are made to our play. Offense is vanilla and too predictable and the defense disappears in the second half. Dolphins have plenty of talent but so do we. I’m hoping that once Beasley gets back to form it’ll turn things around but we need a lot more than just that in order to be a viable contender. BCEagleATLFalcon
Can't blame the officiating for Grady's inexcusable late hit, the botched snap that started the Dolphins at midfield, or the risky-throw-turned-ANOTHER-tipped-INT when we were well within field goal range. This is all on the Falcons.
MilleniumFalcon
Funny how a few weeks can change perspective. After the Aints started 0-2 and Falcons beat Packers to go 2-0... there were a lot of links to saintsreport forum threads and laughing at them because it was a dumpster fire... now it's a bit of a role-reversal. This is all on the Falcons. Quinn said they told him that the hit wasn't late, they called it because they thought he hit him in the head and neck area. Risky? sure people think it's risky now because it was picked. Wasn't any more risky than alot of NFL passes. There is normally someone else close, Hoop has just got to catch that., but he bobbled it. Yeah, the defender got a hand in, but it still was a great throw and hit him good. Can't excuse that. Your TE has to catch that. Nothing wrong with the throwing that.
