It would be helpful, regardless of how you voted, to describe how your opinion of the Trump and Clinton has or has not changed since November.

I had a pretty low opinion of Trump, but his unrestrained recklessness, immaturity and divisiveness has actually surprised me a little.  I was hopeful the office would reign him in.

Although I don't think her book is appropriate, no change of my opinion of Clinton.  Competent but no likeable enough.  Would have done a fine job.

btw . . . I have a theory.

HM fishing for more Hillary votes since November.  Nope...she's still even more unfavorable than Trump.  Granted this is from July but not a lot has changed since then:

A new poll shows that Hillary Clinton's approval rating is even worse than Trump's

You are completely right and wrong about my motives here.

Thank you, Prof. Milgram.

I mean Clinton sucks don't get me wrong the DNC did its country a bad turn in exchange for a political favor it owed but if people could go back in time I don't know how many would change their vote from Trump but I firmly believe far more people who didn't vote would at least vote third party if not hold their nose and vote for her outright.

She's only less popular than Trump by the numbers as she is a loser and no longer a player in the game. Most people who voted for no longer have to stand on their heads and pretend her massive pile of **** doesn't stink.

The same cannot be said of Trump voters. Their guy is still in the game and (like W) they're not about to admit how much he sucks till they no longer believe he will (or he constitutionally cannot continue) to wage their culture war for them

Hillary would probably win NC by 5 to 10 points at minimum. Trump has not endeared himself to the AA community in recent months.

IRL she took their vote for granted and gave them no real reason to get out in Obama era numbers.

Edit: although the revelation the Clinton's used "slaves" could probably be hammered to shave of a few of those numbers

Although if I'm the only one going back in time as opposed of some some weird mass consciousness quatum leap, my vote isn't going to stop Trump anyway I might as well vote 3rd party and feel better about myself

I'd make a **** ton of money playing Trump (+300) in the sportsbook probably too

Actually I think most of us would agree that HM's time machine should go further back than Nov 2016 so we can pick different candidates in the primaries.

I tried my ****dist but the hard core wing that actually controls the GOP just wouldn't listen to reason and kept buying the snake oil. It's a lost cause.

I never believed in Bernie's Utopia but I guess if I could do it all over again I'd redirect my meager energies into foiling Clinton from winning the DNC instead of looking for a responsible Republican.

Blech...  You have both parties moving further left.  I would have gone the other direction with more conservative/libertarian candidates ;)

If you don't want Bernie, the other choices were Webb (who I liked, personally, though I didn't realize he was 70 already), O'Malley (lol), Chaffee (LOL), and Lessig (I honestly don't even remember that guy).

I still think Bernie was unelectable in the general because he's an actual socialist, but of all the candidates from either side, he seemed to be the most genuine and wanted to truly help people, despite me disagreeing with his means of doing so.

I don't think things would be much different in the country to be honest.

All of the whiney little conservative snow flakes who can not stand other people have different ideas and need safe spaces from people kneeling would be up in arms and protesting hillary being crooked and the republicans in congress already said they had years worth of hearings lined up.

She would not smack herself in the whoha with a hammer and blame the media though.....so there is that.

I mean Kasich seems like a guy you could maybe have a beer with but Cruz has that sweet sweet pornhub premium account password so...

I voted for Kasich in the primary, he would've been another GOP go along to get along candidate.  Someone the Dems could puppeteer if he had won, Jeb was the same type of mealy-mouthed politician.

Bet you he'd be much closer to a Obamacare repeal and tax reform than Trump is too

I wouldn't change my vote, but I'm surprised we don't have at least a couple of "Clinton now" votes other than those who said "Clinton then."

It's only 15 total votes though -- maybe some will pour in later.

Tornado sirens were going off at 1:30 this morning and they woke me up.  I was groggy, but awake enough to check radar on my phone for weather alerts and there were none.

At that moment, I became afraid we were getting Nuked by North Korea.  I turned on the TV and was in a panic for a few minutes.

I've been pretty unhappy about previous election results.

But I have NEVER for a MOMENT been actually concerned that we were under nuclear attack until now.

But yeah . . . it's a big freakin' joke

Do you realize how many babies are going to be killed if we start throwing nuclear warheads around?

But don't change your votes guys.

And don't do a G-D D#MN thing to prevent him from getting re-elected either.

The purpose of this thread was NOT to rehash this whole thing.  SB actually has it figured out.

But you guys are reinforcing my theory to my great disappointment.
