Every time we play the Packers they're always this new and improved team that's gonna Deck the Falcons in the mouth, then they get obliterated and they're talked about like they were OBVIOUSLY an injury riddled team that never had a chance.

It never stops being funny. Also, fyi, every team has injuries. Our RT is vital and he was also out most of the game. You gotta deal with those injuries and carry on

I Made it 1:36.. I guess only visiting players get injured. On to Detroit..

They did this in the playoffs too.

We were missing our starting LT for most of the game, our best pass rusher for nearly half the game, a key interior d-lineman for most of the game, etc.  No excuses.

Remember how in the playoffs everyone claimed Sherman (who was not on the injury report) was basically playing on one leg?  And Green Bay was missing all those pieces?  Nobody ever talked about Shelby, Clay, Trufant.  Ever.  Injuries apparently only affect the teams we play.  Our injuries don't matter, because we're pretenders anyway.

These people are just stupid.  There isn't a nicer way to put it.

Stack it up anyway you want. The Greenbay Packers don't have the personnel to beat the Falcons. 3 beatings in less than 1 calendar year should spell it out clearly.

Correct.

They have a saying in the military. The maximum effective range of an excuse is zero yards.

When did everyone become aware that the Packers off tackles were injured and out for this game? When did they realize this game was at the Benz? It must have been 5 seconds before the game because I swear none of that was talked about in nearly every analyst's prediction that Green Bay was gonna win all week.

Now that the Falcons violated the Pack again that's all they wanna say...lololol

too funny

This is my take on it. They're not wrong. If Rodgers is your qb you should be doing everything possible to get him a supporting cast. We build thru the draft just like GB does. They didn't mention that, of course, but we do. Our fan base HATES cause we don't grab every good FA on the market but it's like I always say you build a winner thru the draft and you round out the edges with FA's.

Now here's the real problem. Out of 32 teams we are one of the most balanced teams in terms of talent. We have a good defense trending in the directon of great and an offense that's already great. Remember when I told you guys you either have a great offense with an adequate defense or a great defense with an adequate offense and it's rare to have greatness on both sides of the ball?? Well we're one of those rare teams now and the talking heads and most fans can't comprehend it.

I've said before I it wouldnt take long to be good again because we had talent in place. Building blocks. Matt, Julio, Jake, Tru, alf, and freeman. We just needed a coach with a clear vision of how he wants to build the team and the gm on the same page and get SCHEME specific talent. Well we did that. So while it seems that they're d*ck riding for Aaron they are speaking truth. It's no different than having Matt Ryan and not get him help. Only they don't have a love affair with Matt. But same principles.

Especially when 2 of the 3 were legit azz beatings...its not like we won on last second field goals....we strait up dominated them

Not only physically but emotionally.....we literally knocked the smug off rogers face

OMG.. what a bunch of crap.

On Injuries:    Yes, Packers had 2 o-linemen out.  also true, Falcons lost starting right tackle on first series of the game along with league sack leader and another D-Lineman.

On Packers losing:  Yes, this looked an awful lot like the NFCCG... That tells you Atlanta is not only a better team, but a consistently better team since we beat them 3 of the last 3 games.

Packer Love: I get it that the media loves them some Packer cheese and that the packers win some games every year; but at some point you gotta realize, they just ain't that good when they roll into the ATL.

When are the Packers ever healthy?! I mean its week 2 and it's almost as if the Packers are at the end of a 16 game stretch. Like I was looking forward to finally playing a healthy Packers team in week 2 but nope..If their players get a little cut they sit out for like 2 weeks. You eventually just have to sit back and realize you will never see this Packers team at full throttle and just factor that in to all your analysis/predictions and stop acting like you didn't see this coming.

I have never seen a more brittle team with a load of excuses ready for when they lose. Carter and that other guy are just trying to cover for themselves because they chose the Packers to come in and spoil our home opening. Its hilarious because this is the 3rd time I've seen analyst try to bring up that 1st game against the bears as a reason to not give us props going forward.

Obviously a segment about the Packers, but if you didn't watch the entire segment they gave a lot of props to us.

Yea I watched it all and yes you're correct they did gv us props, BUT there was always an underlying excuse in the waiting in defending their girlfriends' poor performance against us. Not that any of this is even remotely important just kinda funny to talk about.

the Packers actually got lucky the offense is a little off still and that Schraeder went out. the game could have really got out of hand and in a few weeks, Matt ain't gonna be missing this:

When the Packers beat Dallas in the playoffs last season, it was look how they overcame that because Rodgers is so great. When we beat them in the NFCCG it was poor Rodgers couldn't overcome the team's injuries. Can't win either way with the media where the Falcons are concerned.
