Can't figure this one out to save my life.

kinda like the Steelers barely beating the browns and moving up seven spots on the power rankings and we barely beat the Bears and move down two spots.

Yeah, sorry - don't know why Matt is even in the conversation - he made a great play to Hooper but that was about it.

LOL, his MVP status is getting him some of that Brady/Rogers/BigBen love that isn't always earned.

Love Matt, but had to vote for Alex this week.

Yeah, dude killed it. My love of the Falcons and Matt won't get in the way of acknowledging how great of a performance Alex had.

on the flip side, the team dropped in Power Rankings most places from #2 to #7 which seems a little too negative for my tastes - especially on a win.

Falcons 4th drive of the day

Ryan starts it off by stepping into a collapsed pocket and delivering a strike to Julio 18 yards to the sideline.

Three runs (5 yards) and 2 completions later (26 yards) - Ryan is sacked for a 6 yard loss by Hicks.

Now 2nd and 16 -  He completes a pass to Julio who takes it for a 25 yard reception and a 1st down.

Matthews hold call and Coleman 7 yard pickup puts us at 2nd and 13.

Ryan scrambles and runs 13 yds to get the 1st down on the 5 yard line and set Freeman up for a touchdown.

4th quarter -up by 3 points

Scrambling around from the Atlanta 12 yard line on 3rd down and 3 - and nearly going down only to sail a pass 42 yards down the field to Hooper for an 88 yard touchdown knowing he was about to get creamed by 3 defenders and taking a vicious hit for doing it.

4th quarter - up by 3 points again

3rd and 10 from the Atlanta 25 yard line - blitz coming - scrambled around and threw the pass 15 yards to Hooper for 40 yards setting up a field goal.

Completing 70% of his passes - throwing for 300+ yards and no turnovers and 116.1 passer rating on the road  against a stout Chicago defense that was bringing it all game long.

Yeah, Ryan isn't deserving of our support - he was only so - so.   If he doesn't throw for 500 yards and 6 touchdowns, why even bother.    Let's go vote for the other guys

SMDH!

Bradford has to be in the convo as well...albeit that was the saints defense

Bradford is nasty.  If he stays healthy with some protection, he's deadly accurate.

Did I watch a different game? Matt was really efficient with the ball and had a great game.

Even with not much of a run game Ryan still looked very sharp.

these people think good offense is nothing but throwing strikes down field...Ryan was a real field general in that game
