caponine
Agreed. Period, nothing else that i havent already thought of about Sarkisian. Hes gotta step it up ( if he cant, let ryan run the offense) You could tell players were frustrated with playcalling Edited September 12, 2017 by caponine
PokerSteve
I agree. The play calling by Sark was ridiculous. Totally bush league level.

MSalmon
I really liked Vick as an analyst. I don't think it's panic time, yet. I actually like the balanced approach, the key is will Sark let Matt take over if that approach doesn't work
A Pimp Named Slickback™
The question asked by Cowherd or whatever his name is could be asked about every team he brought up.

Exactly. That's just Cowturd trying to be sensational and get traffic through the site and people listening. He's terrible and really close to be as bad as Skip Bayless. PHALCONABERNATHY
What the he!! is Cowturd even trying to say? "Take away every position where Atlanta has good players and are they really good?" Wtf is that?? He's such a ***** and wasn't even interested in talking about the actual game, just trying to bash the team for ALMOST losing and comparing them to the other "top" NFC teams. F him. Rhodaric
What about this? Take away all the "glamor" positions from the GB Packers. No Nelson, no Cobb, no Martellus Bennet, no RB (cause he mentioned Coleman and Freeman) and no D. Adams and what do the Packers have? Would Rodgers be able to still win without them and just street free agent WR and RB? No of course not. So why hold our team to a different standard? Because it doesn't fit the narrative, that the falcons got "lucky" last year right? Anyone really think that GB defense is that much different from last year? I don't, that doesn't mean they aren't healthier, they are, but where are the major difference makers on that defense? Sure they "dominated" the Seahags O line, but really that's because they depend on R. Wilson to improvise and win all the time. Similar to Green Bay, without Rogers, they are a 3 and 13 team right? So why all of a sudden do we have to discount players on our roster? Again because it doesn't fit the narrative that we aren't good right? It's lazy and biased ANALysis, that sensationalized to get attention and that's it. Edited September 12, 2017 by Rhodaric
Wjcorner
Dudes don't know what they're talking about. We ran no huddle plenty of times. It's how we'd go from an I formation to a 5 wide spread with the same personnel. Ryan had a lot of control at the line...he changed the call quite a few times. We ran the same offense as last year. Bears just refused to give stuff up deep majority of the game, and came up and made sure they got our guys down on the first tackle. We still had splash plays up the seams and a couple of big YAC plays. We ran bootlegs...we had a couple of stretch runs and stretch run bootlegs and RPOs. People just aren't looking at the all-22 or giving the Bears credit

TRUju2111
I like how he listed the biggest strength of each team in the NFC but only wanted to point out our biggest weakness and if Rico is one of our biggest weaknesses we are doing pretty good
Falconsfan567
Why do people think the play calling was so bad? It's like people don't understand football.
Wjcorner
And Colin is an idiot...the team that just got 4 sacks on a squad that REFUSED to throw deep doesn't have a good d-line??? Our o-line started gelling later in the game and really didn't have much trouble holding strong at the point of attack. They had to start blitzing to get pressure, and there man to man was better than most expected. Even still...if Toilolo runs underneath the ball on that TE throwback instead of trying to track it by back peddling, we're probably talking about how great the offense is today instead of thinking they underperformed. And truthfully, think it was Freeman who ran that down, made a great effort to close the window that was about to be wide open.
