FentayeJones
Not surprised that they kept Williams. Hall or Davis can go to the PS and develop some more. Besides the 6th receiver is always inactive on game day. Im surprised that Saubert made it over Perkins though.

BoomGoesTheDynamite
Guess they saw more upside with Saubert then Perkins. I'm cool with it.

RandomFan
I guess I'm going to have to be that guy who points out this still has Ishmael listed as a safety instead of the LBer that he is now. This should serve as a nice reminder that when you see the "official" depth chart or whatever, take it with a huge grain of salt because the media staff that puts these types of things together are most definitely not the coaches -- or often times even all that informed. Cole World
Aldrick Robinson who was the 6th receiver on Falcons depth chart last year is the 49ers 3rd receiver now. Shanahan would of swooped Nick up with the quickness had we cut him.
EJmusic
With every great play Hall and Davis made, silly drops were also made. I'm good with reliable Nick for now. Hall and Davis can develop more. Disappointed Odom didn't make it with Grace but there just weren't enough spots for him this year.
JG2008
Hill wasnt playing that good before he got injured. That is definitely one of the WTF of this roster. He was good in college but I didn't see any flashes in preseason to warrant keeping him - did any of you? i guess they see something in practices that makes them think he has a role
GTBF54
TE Jace Amaro was cut by the Titans........... Would love to see him in a Falcons Uni............
Flying Falcon
I wanted Odoms. Reed should have been cut. Either him or Shelby.
BoomGoesTheDynamite
Not having a legit backup Center is alarming. Man I hope Mack will be alright this whole season.

Perkins would have to have been miles ahead of Saubert for him to stick but because he was only slightly better then you have to think Saubert's ceiling will eventually put him ahead of Perkins especially once he gets a firm grip on the NFL speed and talent. Don't know why everybody is pissed about Odoms! Yes he had great stats last game, but look at the plays going away from him. Going half speed at best. That crap don't fly on this D! Look at Hageman and how he played the last two years. Half-@$$ing it all over the field. Why not keep Odoms who knows how to get off blocks and make tackles.
