lostnmexico
I have been watching the preseason as well as last year and have been pulling for Jack Lynn to make this squad. Why you ask? All of our LBs are light in the pants in we get gutted by power runs in the middle of the field. I think we need a 250 pounder for the middle bringing Cambell and Jones off the edge in a true 4-3 Goal Line set? Anyone else see this as a huge need for our Defense? GATXBOI
I think we need a Jeremiah Trotter type linebacker IMO
DonDaLuvMaker
Falcons will be fine. Quinn asked Debo to put on a little more weight during the offseason.

lostnmexico
Cant help but think TJ Ward could help too but Keanu has SS locked up!
LookAboutFalcon
We can always stand up Upshaw if need be.
mattyicefalcon
What defense??? We need some nasty, mean blood in trenches....not cutie pies!!
hjerry
The only reason Lynn is still on this team is b/c someone has to take those SAM reps in game 4, with Campbell on the sideline.
mikeg272
Didn't know anyone had a negative around anymore. Did you not watch the hits debo and keanu gave out last year? Think those 2 can hold it down well.
lostnmexico
I thought the middle of out defense was soft all year last year. Thats why they got Poe but they failed to address the fact that we have the lightest LB corps in the league and I am worried about it. Maybe the waiver wire can bring us a THUMPER! papachaz
I think what we really need are some more good rock solid posters on the message board...

That "lightest LB core" is a key feature of this scheme We're all about speed and athleticism. The days of the big 2 down downhill thumper in the middle are over

There is a reason Curtis Lofton doesn't play for the Saints. Goalline is about Dline penetration more than a MLB. And Jones is pretty ****ed good at Stonewalling defenders. This is a swarm, stack, strip, score defense.

I don't see that being an issue with Poe and Jarrett manning the interior of the D-line.

I bet he could plug the middle given the chance on short yardage situations....
Flyin' In DC
I think with the additions on the D-Line(Poe, Crawford, Takk,) it will make it much easier for our LB's and SS(Neal especially) to come up and make those type of plays. And the fact that no team will EVER be in short yardage against this defense anyways makes the whole point moot
Desert_Falcon
On the front during that situation we do have some beef. The combo of Hage,Crawford, Poe and Grady should be more than enough to penetrate and give room for our LBs to strike regardless of size. Peyton
Actually it's no problem because the Falcons aren't going to let any teams get to the goal line this year.

Beat me to it. Just don't let 'em get that close. Problem solved.
