^^^This, people forget these local stations do 4 games a year and preseason games at that, they're not trying to give 360 degree coverage.

I don't care about 360 degree coverage. I don't forget anything. I just said I didn't like the angle they were using because it was annoying. Didn't have that problem with them in The Dome. I just pointed out that it was different in the new stadium.

I agree. The tv view of the field was too far away.

And, man, it looked like they were playing outside under the midday sun, but I was okay with that. It was just so bright.

Oh, one other thing: On tv, the scoreboard behind the Falcons bench looked pink instead of red.

I thought the same thing! I was just impressed that it looked like a one o'clock game at 8pm

my biggest problem was trying to follow who was in the game--TV shots of the plays did not give an angle to show player numbers  -prior to snap

Exactly why it annoyed me so much. I couldn't tell who was making catches until the play was already over because the angle they had made it to where you couldn't see the numbers.

Im glad this thread was created.  I just mounted a 65" Sony 4k TV last Thursday and was not happy about the picture looked when I was playing the most recent preseason game.  Movies and Game of Thrones looked amazing but I had convinced myself that maybe football just wasn't going to look great on the TV.  I was so focused on adjusting the settings, I didn't even realize it was the way it was being broadcast.  So last night, after reading this thread, I turned on the playoff game vs Green Bay that I had saved on my DVR and boom, beautiful!  Glad I read this!

Yeah, I just recently got a Schultz 55 inch 4k t.v. and watching the FOX preseason games on Sunday was truly beautiful.
