Top 10 QB? LMAO!!!!

  • 1710/2928 (58.4%), 21,772 YDS (7.4), 136 TD, 78 INT, 86.1 QB Rating

That's top 10 QB stuff now?

  • 2016 - 270/510 (52.9%), 3509 YDS (6.4), 19 TD, 14 INT, 75.8 QB Rating

Cam Newton has a good strong arm but he's not a good passer because he refuses to put in the work necessary to improve his footwork to improve his passing.

Don't fall for the whole 2015 crap. That was such a fluke, and so many of those TD's where because he could just junk it deep and let Ted Ginn or someone else go get it because teams were geared up to stop the run.

Teams fear Cam Newton's running ability the same way they feared Michael Vick's, but no one fears Cam as a passer.

Where are his rushing yards and TDs? Those count in the NFL.

I understand the inbred hatred for Cam, but he is close to Top 10.

Not sure Mariota and Cousins are better from the two lists I've seen so far.

Lmao Cam has won an MVP and he's not much better than Derek freakin Anderson? Yeah right lol. Luke not playing either.

The Titans are a fun team though. Mariota is probably my favorite young QB right now.

Blake Bortles once threw 35 TD passes in a season too but he's probably gonna lose the starting QB job on the Jaguars to Chad Henne. Also, Derek Anderson once was QB of a Browns team that somehow managed to win 10 games in 2007.

agree I think mariota will be better and cousins is a nope for me. Im sick of the luck lovefest he has done really nothing in the nfl so far. I know its all the o line fault and the gm but he makes a lot of bone headed mistakes as well id say cam is 9 to 15 type qb

Yeah I'd probably take Mariota over Luck and Cousins. I still think Cam is better than all of em. Can't ignore his ground game. It's real.

Cam is nowhere near losing his job.

I think marcus mariota is a more accurate version of russel wilson with not quite the same long ball arm talent.

I don't hate Cam. I'm an Auburn fan and Cam Newton provided the best Auburn season I've ever seen. Also, I didn't include rushing yards and TDs because I was talking about PASSING. QBs get paid to THROW THE FOOTBALL. It's a lame excuse when people want to include rushing numbers for trying to evaluate QB performance and skill. Name 1 HOF QB that you've got to mention their run stats in order to make their case as a HOF QB? Oh wait, you don't have to.

Career passing stats.

  • Cam Newton - 1710/2928 (58.4%), 21,772 YDS (7.4), 136 TD, 78 INT, 86.1 QB Rating
  • Kirk Cousins - 1025/1556 (65.9%), 12,113 YDS (7.8), 72 TD, 42 INT, 93.6 QB Rating
  • Marcus Mariota - 506/821 (61.6%), 6244 YDS (7.6), 45 TD, 19 INT, 93.8 QB Rating

Both Cousins and Mariota have better passing numbers than Cam. Cam can't even complete 60% of his passes and that's horrific in today's NFL.

yeah marcus is no cam in the ground game but he is no slouch either in two yrs he has 601 yds rushing avg 6.4 yds a carry with 4 tds. plus he doesnt take bad hits and is smart.

pre season takes run blockinjg longer to gel. this is last yr stats just for murray with the titans

murray- 1287 4.4 yds a carry and 9 tds for murray

Yes, they were a good running team last season. I was just saying, so far this preseason their run blocking hasn't been good, and last week against the Titans even the pass blocking was bad.

Andrew Luck is grossly overrated. Sick of hearing about how great he is.

not just a fun team but a dangerous team, marcus took a big leap in yr two. that o line is a top 3 line and demarco murray is a beast who might lead the league in rushing this yr. add in rishard matthews, eric decker and delaine walker and that is a great offense. the titans are good at stopping the run but couldnt stop the pass but added a lot of help in the secondary this yr.

I definitely think they are the class of their division and a threat to the Patriots in the AFC.

I have no confidence in Pittsburgh beating N.E. The same goes for KC with A. Smith. I'm not saying Tenn can beat NE but I think they are one of the better teams in the AFC.

If San Diego, excuse me LA, can stay healthy, they are a sleeper team too. They have a very talented roster that no one talks about. Patriots are the class of the conference though.

You shouldn't have any confidence in Pittsburgh beating New England. I don't think anyone even remembers the last time Pittsburgh beat New England. It's been a long time. Chiefs? Meh. Can't believe they've got like 7 prime time games this year. That's horrific.

I just don't understand the talk about the Chargers. I just don't see it. I see a team that will once again feature a good offense but a horrendous defense and will struggle to win games because of it amount of pressure that falls on Rivers and him being prone to mistakes when pressured.

Sadly, at least on paper, no one is on the same level of the Patriots. They've got another cake walk to the Super Bowl.

to me best teams of afc are raiders, pats of course, and titans thats about it, I need to see more the chargers I agree with rivers they are the bad news bears lol. The afc is weak sauce. I think the steelers are fools gold and KC needs a change. most of the worst teams in the league are in the afc. two teams in the pats division are in full on rebuild mode in the jets and bills.

Yeah, and it's a concern for me.

not me, it will get better as we go and the line plays together more. we were changing so many pieces each drive last game it was hard to keep up. After last yr I have faith in mack. schrader, levitre, and to a lesser extent matthews. even  if the rg is weak thats the one spot on the line where I we can survive it being weak at least.
