Tim Mazetti
https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2017/8/5/16100800/marvin-hall-is-making-the-most-of-his-opportunity-in-falcons-training-camp Didn't know he was on the team. Marvin Hall is making the most of his opportunity in Falcons training camp 5 comments The young receiver played for Steve Sarkisian and is standing out early. by Dave Choate Aug 5, 2017, 12:00pm EDT Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports No matter how much any of us like Nick Williams, we have to acknowledge that one of the primary reasons he was even in the running for a job was that he had ties to Kyle Shanahan. Ditto Chris Chester. They were both good players, particularly Chester, but those connections matter. That’s why Marvin Hall has suddenly become so intriguing. The 24-year-old receiver played for new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian for two seasons at Washington, in 2012 and 2013, though his very best season saw him snag nine receptions for 206 yards and a touchdown. It’s not like he figures to jump up and take on a big role. However, Hall is standing out early, and he may be earning a longer look from Sark and the coaching staff. If the team’s going to keep six receivers, Hall is as good a bet as any. Hall’s upside for the season would likely be the team’s sixth receiver or a practice squad player with a chance to join the team in case of injury, so again, there’s little chance of an impact. But every day where he impresses, coupled with his ties to Sark, increases his chances of hanging around, and then who knows?

hjerry
As always, I take these kind of reports with a big heaping dose of salt. I'll wait and see if he does it on Thursday. At very least we may have found our first candidate for fringe player who posters claim we can't waive b/c there's "no way" they make it through waivers lol. He caught 25 balls in his 4yr college career. /p/ He does run fast. Maybe he shows up in the games and makes the roster or PS. I'm certainly not rooting against him, but he seems to be a longshot. I hope he can play you can't have enough talent. Also, no guarantee Gabriel will be here next year, so you never know.
JayOzOne
He needs a nickname to match his upcoming hype. I suggest Marvin "Speedy Sunshine" Hall.
