Braves vs. Bluejays

Should be a good matchup and a good series. If our starting pitching shows up, I don't see why we couldn't pull out a series win here. So far we have a good road record, Let's keep that going in Canada! We steal 2 in Toronto and split at home.

Go Braves!

Jays come in red hot. They've put that slow start behind them. They've won 8 of 10 and 5 in a row. They've averaged 6 runs a game during that 5 game stretch. That surging offense gets Bartolo Colon in the first game.

We're facing righties to start all 4 games. What's our batting numbers look like facing righties vs. facing lefties?

Well yesterday was just the Braves 2nd game facing a lefty starter and they've now got a 1-1 record.

Thanks for throwing in the NL avg....  This list does say that our experienced veterans are carrying the teams offense thus far. But our young guys are not far behind. Flowers has been a pleasant surprise.

Wow I have not noticed that at all. Almost a qtr. of the season has gone by and we've only faced 2 starting LH's.

The NL East used to be a division that was loaded with LHP but now there's hardly any to speak of.

Snitker wanted Kemp to DH but Kemp didn't want to. He asked to play LF and Snit agreed to do it.

Great job Dansby and amazing slide by Garcia. That's a pitch that Dansby's been swinging and missing at a ton this year.

Who is in charge in that clubhouse?

Snitker, Kemp just said he felt great and would rather play both sides than just 1. A lot of guys don't like being DH because they don't feel apart of the game.
